I've been building Android images in my spare time and running them on my phone. Anyway anyone out there want to share their tips or tricks on building Android for the Vogue. Things such as what to put in .repo/local_manifest.xml.

Also is anyone working on getting the hero rom working with the vogue. I've tried but only get as far as having the htc boot logo loop. And if I put the contents of app_s in /system/app I get no boot logo but a bunch of permission errors.

You have to watch which hero build you're trying to use. Many of them use apps2sd which will cause issues if you don't have you sd card partitioned. I worked on a couple of them for a while with limited success but what I did get running was much too slow to work with. However the released files are from a very early build and as such there are alot of force closes etc. Hopefully HTC will drop a hero phone sometime soon with a complete build, which will make the process much easier.
