View Full Version : HELP me boot Linux on Mio 558/Rover P7

Mine(Mio)

Hi everyone!
I'm trying to boot linux on my oldye QQAAXX WP2, a.k.a. Mitac Mio 558, a.k.a. Rover P7.
I'm using the files + instructions foundon a Handelds.org dedicated project (http://www.handhelds.org/projects/rover.html), but I can't get it to boot....it just hard-resets my pda back to factory defaults.... :( (I have a nice backup, fortunately :) ).
Searching around the net, I found the way to make HARET save its log....so what I'm asking is: what is amiss here? And can any of you folks help me booting it succesfully? (this way, or any other way....I'm not a coder, but I like to meddle around and I'd love to run some decent linux apps on my pda  )

Here follows the log:
