I just pm'ed you as well, and on the blackstone rom it says that the footprints tab on the new manila is broken, due to the camera, could it possibly be solved with installing or implemnting footcam.exe?

I have used NRGs Rom in two other HTC phone The hd and the Diamond .

On the Diamond it is sluggish . On The HTC HD is fantastic.

If on the TD2 is any where near the performance of the HTC HD we will be indebdted
to NRG fo a long time.

Flashed and tested a litle bit the new ROM and promised a really great and pretty ROM. Fully packed with tools and programs,but on the other side a gigantic amount of free RAM.
For me, first tested the powerleak and measured it and can say the result is fantastic.
HTC has made changes in Batterylife,compared to the first Diamond,but the battery is still underdeveloped for a longtime use of the phone.
I think the powerdrain of a ROM is very,very important, and in case of this ROM he really deserves the name "EnergyROM" or "GreenROM" :D:D:D
NTGZ28 have to fix minor bugs,like a wrong shortcut to camera etc.

The first impression of the ROM is,for me,fantastic.
Pretty icons and buttons,really a "Designer ROM" :D

The wait is worth, trust me!!!!

Just installed the rom for testing.

Small side node. After the screen alignment (Which I had to do three times) you get the today screen and setting up the device.

It shows EnyergyROM HD.

Just a minor cosmetic change, same for the UC Setup stage.

The option after the connection setup to restart or not is really nice. This gives you a change to make a few more change without an extra reboot.

Also a question: Is sdkcerts already embedded in this rom?

I will post more findings as soon as I played around a bit more.

The numbers you see when press the right top button is the memory usage. So if it says 45% like mine it means there's still 55% free mem.

So is it really 20% free or is 80% free?

Ok my next 2 cents:

Bluetooth working as it is supposed to. :cool:
Rom is fast. :cool:
Lower mem usage then stock. :cool:
TF3D2 Tweak by At0mAng & Danny seems broken. :(
It installs ok, but for instance the Manila Rotation tweak doesn't work for me.
The action button on the lower left corner doesn't work. :(
The error is: The file 'HTCActionScreen' cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate or one of it's components cannot be found.
I installed SDKcerts so I don't think it is a certificate problem. Maybe has to do with DotNet version?

So I will keep continueing testing and report more as I find out.

That's because only 1 keyboard is installed by default. If you install anything else, you can select it...

If Manilla is enabled, in the settings tab hitting 'all settings' will not bring up 'all settings' but send you to a wrong place.

A workaround is to use the settings icon from the Start-menu.

Maybe some other shortcuts are not working correctly
From the actions-menu I get no response when hitting Shutdown or GPS.
In the programs menu, it seems like GoogleMaps i a dead link, and TotalCommander seems to be there twice.

Ahhhh, now I see. You mean the left softbutton on the settings tab. Yeah I have the same problem. I never use that. Just go to start and then settings.

But you're right, this is an issue that should be resolved.

First of all this is the best ROM I've tested with WM 6.5. Stylish, fast and not resource hungry, but I have the "All Settings" shortcut leading to Connecions Tab. Hope to see this fixed soon.

Please, look into the following issue. The Gmail java application does not install.

First, it says "Application: Gmail is untrusted. Continue anyway?". Then, when you click "Yes", it says "File error", and show "(???)" lower on the screen.

Ohh my, this ROM runs absolutely great! I managed to get Danish T9 support, so it's almost perfect now! But there is just one little detail, is it possible to get the arrows back in the bottom of the keyboard back when you type?

Yeah that was a test with the new kernel posted by Da_G yesterday. I guess it doesn't work yet :( I'll talk to him to day to see what's up.

I'm going to post a new release right now based on the old kernel, like the old ROM. Stay tuned :)

p.s. Bare me with this ROM please. I don't have a Topaz device to tinker with, so I'm cooking this ROM blindly. I will rely on you guys to find the bugs so I can fix them. But we'll get all the bugs fixed no problem :)

Oh yes, another thing i forgot about:

in the new WM 6.5 OS its a big problem the repllog.exe, thats ActiveSync for your PC. That process runns in background and drains the battery pretty fast. For now that process has to be killed manually after disconecting from PC. No fear guys,he starts next time you connect the USB Cable !!!! :D
repllog.exe is a bit tricky to kill, managed only with the attached tool.

Hey, I have an annoying service trying to run over and over when I start up: STK Service. I won't turn off. Keeps blinking and demanding my attention. After a few minutes it settles down in the background. Can someone help?

Yes,bro, flashed 3 hours ago and works like a charm.
Tested all features and included tools who are important to me.
Only thing i found is the Comm Manager icon apers twice, but i can delete the shortcut.
In TCPMP Player if select DirectDraw the phone freezes. Also with CorePlayer 1.32. Missing drivers?
SPB MobileShell set the Hardware Acceleration automaticaly also there is an driver and Hardware!!!
Have to check this one.
The powerdrain is significant, dont know that is caused by the radio,that value pulses rhythmicaly any 8-10 seconds.
My house is a little bit out of the town and signalstrenght is very low, thik that is the reason for that pulsing.
Hope there is a new radio, we can compare.

You can manually change the path of the shortcut to point at the right .exe.
Its very simple.

This was the one I had downloaded early afternoon GMT.

Yep, got the same thing. Plus "STK Service" trying to run all the time. Been trying v3 all day. Nothing to complain about, really! I will see if there is any power drain tomorrow. The first version of the rom seemed to be power efficient.

hey guys, for the first time, i am really anxious about changing rom. i have made so many registry entries, so many options changed that i can't even remember. i will try to back up my rom before i test energy's rom (which i am sure will be great experience) but i also read about some error messages u guys post, and i read that the zoom bar doesn't work?

zoom bar is really important for me, i use it as a d-pad. can someone tell me if zoom bar works?

hey guys, for the first time, i am really anxious about changing rom. i have made so many registry entries, so many options changed that i can't even remember. i will try to back up my rom before i test energy's rom (which i am sure will be great experience) but i also read about some error messages u guys post, and i read that the zoom bar doesn't work?

zoom bar is really important for me, i use it as a d-pad. can someone tell me if zoom bar works?

guys these r pre releases so cant be 100% perfect until Microsoft release their original version

Upgraded to R3 last evening.
Battery was at 68%, and now 14 hours later only dropped to 66%.
Fooled around with it for like 30 minutes, several calls and texts.

I had huge battery issue with the stock rom after installing various applications and drivers ect ... the battery wouldnt last a day even after removing said drivers and applications i installed udks 6.1 rom and my battery was better again (Radio seemed better!)...
my point is battery issues may not just be down to rom, there are other factors and thats why not eveyone suffers same problem to the same extent

Anyway, flashed that and after initial setup was completed, I know Manila TouchFlo 3D was working. After I used Sashimi to install a bunch of cabs, now it is not able to start. So Great ROM! I love it so much. But I wonder if it was supposed to display MMS and Contacts in Asia language, since it's a WWE Rom. I understood WWE as a English UI and all language display-support. Wrong idea, isn't it?

lovely update. but can somebody tell me how to make the screen automatically rotated? I can only manually rotate the screen with the program 'rotate screen' in the start menu.

and another problem is that the running program cannot be shown in the upright corner.and the I have to kill the running process in the task manager. it's a little bit inconvenient. It seems that even if I killed the programs, still no free space released.

3rd problem is that the calculator cannot turn into landscape mode(scientific mode).

last problem is still the opera browser. I cannot find a way to zoom in/out, either by zoombar or by tapping on the screen.

Two most important issues for me are the missing zoom bar functionality (Opera) and the missing call curtain. Hope to see these things fixed in a future release.

The only real problem for me is not the shortcuts that can be fixed easily. The only real problem is the battery drain! Its definately the prettiest, software complete and most functional ROM I ever had on a WM phone that is only a minor fixes away from perfect functionality! The most serious reason to abandon this ROM and return back to the stock ROM is the battery drain that makes my TD2 to loose all its power in less than a day! If NRG manages to tweak his ROM in power consumption then I am sure it will be the best ROM ever on a WM phone!
We definately need to thank him for his work to make our TD2s look so impressive!

I found a two little bugs with the lock screen, when i recive a sms, there is no sound until i unlock the screen, then it plays the sms sound, pretty odd, the other thing is when i have recived a sms, i tap the slider so the next slider will appear, but there is no slider, but it work, only the slider i invisible?

Nice ROM, but I have discovered some bugs:
1) ZoomBar does not work anywhere (at leas not in album, opera or messaging)
2) Double tap to zoom in on a picture in album rotates the left half of the image while zooming
3) Hitting all the settings soft button in the manila settings tab brings you to com setting, not all setting.
4) In the manila programs tab, trying to remove the upper right icon (assigned program) will actually remove the left most icon in the second row (strange one :) )
5) Finger scroll in ThumbCal is very slow
6) Finger menu does not show arrows to at top or bottom (to indicate more items) of the list if there are to many menu items to fit on one page, the list is scrollable though.

Hope this issues will be resolved, anyway I really like the Energy ROM series!!

TD2 to lose all its power in one day... I find that very FUNNY :)

I have YET to find a PPC phone (that I actually use and play with all day!!!) that will last me more than one day!!!!!!!!! Mine lasts about a day usually.. sometimes less. I think that's very normal when you actually use the phone!

I use the editor to make a shortcut for TomTom. When installed it doesn't show up in the programlist. That's when CHome editor comes in handy.

Found out that the sms tone only plays when you switch on the screen, i thought it only happend when i used lock screen, but my screen was not locked this time.

So i recive a message, the light flashes, but no sound, when i wake up my device maybe 5 minutes later, the sound plays, can you fix this?

Loving the ROM so far.... The only glitches for me are I think theme related whereby the bottom part of the theme in pop-ups is very narrow and difficult to tap if one wishes to reveal the rest of the menu.

Can't verify the SMS notification problem as I haven't received any SMS yet :)

I must admit though I do miss the auto orientation change on turning the device, I know you don't like it though!

Love the speed and the custom icons.

To me it might be useful is titanium items like weather, Claunch, and FavePeople were included as standard.... but I know that is personal choice again.

Well, what I did notice is that when you try to add a recipient by entering their name you don't get the suggstions. You have to go to menu --> add recipient to add someone from your contacts.

i tested the rom, because i was curious... and i have to say that i didn't find anything fast about it. it is not immediate responsive, and it has the 6.5 menu that i hate. back to official 6.1

The good thing is that this version of Notofocation Manager has clickable buttons in the notification window. Its great that it directs directly to Comm Manager or battery, etc. as needed. Hopefully you have a cooler version with this feature...

Found out that the sms tone only plays when you switch on the screen, i thought it only happend when i used lock screen, but my screen was not locked this time.

So i recive a message, the light flashes, but no sound, when i wake up my device maybe 5 minutes later, the sound plays, can you fix this?

An issue I found today, no matter what I do I can't get the BT to pair with my Peugeot 307CC, other ROMs so far have not had this issue at all. I just keep on getting prompted for the password over and over.

I have had in the past issues with pairing (not this ROM, original ROM that came with the phone) but a hard reset fixed the problem.

I had a problem, because I use my Diamond 2 as Alarm Clock. But this doesn't works, I think the Phone is hunging up when it is switched on longer time.

So. Using this rom now for 3 days. Looks pretty stable to me. I do have a few things that I would like to present:

1) Alarm function isn't working correctly but this can be solved by using Klaxon (which can integrate into Touchflo)

2) The All Settings issue, will not go into detail as it has been pointed out too many times already

3) A few modifications that a use to make this my rom of choice:

4) If you go to the program tabs and choose all programs, when you have installed flip it, and you turn the screen it gets messed up.

after 3 days of using the energy rom.. it seems to be a bit unstable..
sometimes i cant get it out of standby..
the top bar is shown.. but no slider to unlock .. and the display stays dark (not black at all )...

I know I had this same problem in other roms last week, it is was due to the A4 chinese sip cab. For this rom, I didn't install that, so I'm not sure which other cab might have caused it. Majority, if not all the other cabs I had installed did not cause this problem in other roms with Manila and Titanium.

Anyway, I normally use Titanium so it's not too bad, just that it might be a bug on the Touchflo 3D, so if it can be solved, it would be good.

Love the speed and responsiveness of the new rom. Thanks.

Well I'm 99.9% sure it's one of your cabs. The Manila I use is rather new and so far it's been solid as rock for me. Not ONE glitch.

Started to uninstall many of my cabs, one by one and enabling Touchflo 3D. After I almost removed more than 10 cabs, without being able to turn on Touchflo 3D, I did a SR and it worked now. I can't narrow down to the particular cab that caused it, unless I start installing and rebooting to check. Going to take more time, might not have the time to do it though.

Well the cursor is there on the right of the . Holding this will show the cursors, but the word you want to change is selected to the first one so the cursor doesn't do anything.
