ROM : 3.13.408.1.ITA
RADIO : 02.94.90

This should be the original HTC WM6 for Artemis P3300 !

Thanks for your help !

I'd like to help but what can I say..How long does your battery last in "normal use"?WM6 may be a little more consuming than WM5 but not to knock down your device in a couple of hours. Maybe your battery is coming near to its end:confused:Try to install BatteryStatus to monitor the Power drain.Roughly should be at around 75mA in Stanby and 150-170mA with screen on (only gsm on).Actually my battery is getting old too and I am looking for a good version of BaterryStatus (even older versions) that refreshes values faster. If we find it,we could exchange some data about our Artemis' behaviour. Try also to change radio, to see what happens.

My P3300 is new. I've bought two of these devices few days ago by TIM (one of these was for my wife and she still use branded TIM WM5 without any problem).
The retail price was very low due to the long device stock time (now i'm supposing)...only 99Euro for each device.

I think that the battery was very old (more then 3yo) but in any case i've found this problem after updating to WM6.

Where I can find the RADIO updating ?

I see the WIKI on XDA but in ftp the server ask me the password that i don't know...could you give me this password (if it is pubblic password) ?

Could you give me some information about batterystauts monitor ?

Thanks a lot.

Radios can be found here: http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Artemis_RadioUpgrades. Notes:by installing another radio you won't loose any device data but you have to unlock it first (read posts!!!). As you have an original ROM, you probably did not do it before..

BatteryStatus is a small freeware app that sticks on today screen and shows some of the device's parameters, including the power consumption (in mAmpere). By observing this value you can make sure that you don't have any excessive draining, for instance if windows is not closing some devices (gps,wifi..) correctly after use. As you have 2 artemis, i suggest you to install it on both; even if they have two different WM they should drain battery in a similar way (not one the double than the other:D). Would be also interesting to exchange batteries between your two phones.

I've already phisically exchange the two batteries and reallineate microSD card and SIM card with phone contacts, now power consumption seem to be good.
Now I try to install BatteryStatus on both devices.

What about the XDA ftp password for download ?

Thanks you're very kind.

Ciao.
Marco

Ciao,
no ftp password needed for the radios, just click the one you like and you'll be redirected to the related trhead.

Ciao Marco,

No processor overclocking, correct? (+speed= -battery)

Radio Version is Low (generally means less consume), so this shall not be the reason, anyway it was the same as my old one, I've upgraded it to 3.18.90 working better in reception now, I've downloaded it from: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=397939

I've tried many WM6 ita edition and WM6.1 ita, but at the end I went for a Pure edition
WM6.1 Pro ITA - Ver 3.13.00 - Radio 02.94.90 Prot 4.1.12.44
Light edition, then on it I've added just few fixes and what I wanted...

Personally I advice you to go for an ufficial ROM,
Maybe this is the reason of the problem!
cooked bad = battery eater (maybe you have so much useless stuff running that asks the processor to run fast even when you're not using it!)

Till now the higher official ITA rom is 6,00, works fine but doesn't have Threaded SMS option...

Good Luck!:)

After another hardware reset (and microSD and SIM repositioning) the problem seem to be disappeared.

Thanks for your help.
