How to cook ROMs?

Hello together,
I want to learn how to cook ROMs for the Herald. Could anybody tell me how to do this? This would be very nice if anybody got the time. I know it's a lot of work, but i want to learn and do something for the forum. I'm really interested in. Thanks.

I gotta remake the whole walkthrough that I had created once. It has changed a LOT since I wrote that... The only person that even remotely knows the way that I currently do it is the author of pepperland.

It's not that hard once you understand the concept...
Unfortunately, I don't have the time to write up the right up at the moment.

Allright, thank u anyway. Some of u got the knowledge and i really want to learn. But it takes a lot of time so i can understand u that u can't teach me at this time. Perhaps someday i can do this, i hope so. I'm sorry if my english is not perfect enough. I know that u do a lot of work for everyone in this forum. I thank u very much for ur ROMS, they r awesome. It's really cool to have WM6.5 on my device:)
