Little help ANybodY?

well im having so many problems with my g1 after rooting
and so now im going to reflash back to the STOCK frimware
and i was wondering instead of reflashing the recovery image crap can i just boot up into recovery mode and install 1.5 cupcake with no problems or do i have to reflash and so on

shouldn't be a problem, they're just two ways of doing the same thing. JF's recovery accepts both release and testing keys, stock firmware is a release key, so it should work

so pretty much i can extract the zip
and take the .nbh and update it or
do i just update it using the alt+l on the recovery screen but with the update.zip instead

Follow tutorials 1 and 2 from: http://myhangoutonline.com/androids/ and you should be good.
