Hello, I'm new to the Dream Android Development forum!

Can't wait to see what exciting stuff i can do with my Tmobile G1 ha ha

First thing is first... I used Dashwire.com for my HTC Excalibur to upload all of my text messages online as well as other misc items. Unfortunately this website does not support the G1 - Anyone know of another website - or even a program that i can install to keep an upload of my text messages? Thanks in advance!

You can back them up using "Backup for root users."

There is a program in the market called "SMS Backup" that will backup all your texts to you gmail account.

It then lists all your texts as conversations. Awesome app.

then why post this question here? ;)

but yeah, theres plenty of ways to back up stuff, theres loads of apps out there that can either just back up sms messeges or backup your entire phone's data. :)
i thought you could do it from GoogleMail but i must be wrong.

What he meant to say is unless you have something to discuss about active development you are working on, your post belongs in General, not Development subforum (read the sticky/announces at the top of the dev subforum).

A mod will probably move/trash this later and warn you.

dont answer his question, just report the posting and maybe people will learn to post in the right forum.
