Flashing from SD Card?

I would like to flash into 6.5 but the problem is i have a mac! I would really like to flash but i dont know if flashing from SD Card would work

Format SD card using FAT32
1 Insert SD card into phone
2. Connect using ActiveSync
3. Rename nbh file to "EXCAIMG.nbh"
4. Copy EXCAIMG.nbh to SD card
5. Disconnect phone
6. Start Manual Bootloader (hold camera key for three seconds and press power button)
7. After quick messages (checking sd card, etc.) you should get "Update SD image? Press power button to download" screen with countdown in bottom corner
8. After timeout you will go to color bars UI

Exit bootloader: hold camera key, wait three seconds and hold down power key also until phone turns off

Thanks man, I've noticed you have a Claro logo below your nick. Did your excalibur came locked to Claro and with WM5 originally?? I was wondering if you know what original rom is the one for this phones?.

No it didn't, I have 2 Excaliburs, one is an HTC S620 no carrier and the other one an Unlocked tmo Dash. No Claro original ROM for the dominican Republic

cant seem to pass step 6!! wont work!!!!

it goes to the searching sd card but it only flashes for a sec then goes to the multicolor screen! iim so confused!

i have finnally got into the screenn and then it says

"invalid certificate"

What did i do wrong?

I'm also getting this message, I have flashed previously (not from SD card) with no problem. I tried flashing through SD card since I'm dealing with a frozen screen that I can't fix due that I was trying to upgrade to the new WM 6.5 and I don't know if I locked again my device. I've tried everything posted on these forums to resurrect my excalibur and I'm running out of options. I can only get to the bootloader mode with no success with the original roms posted, my phone just throws me the "Invalid model error" or "invalid model vendor". Is there another way out?

you senior members&members should really lighten up on us rookies. it takes a little time to learn how to navigate the site. not everyone is an expert, including me, YET. there's alot of threads to go through. in the last week i've been here for hours doing research on how to do stuff. thought the idea was to HELP. be a little nicer, like Stylez who is very helpful.

it is not that they are trying to be up tight, or something like that....a lot of space gets occupied on the server by threads that need not be started.... search does a lot.... we all do want to help... but, I believe the old adage says that you cannot help someone who does not first help themselves... they are just trying to assure the rules be followed.....
