Listing directories with Activesync/Vista Sync center slow

Does anyone know why whenever I connect my phone and try to access any directory it takes forever.. The progress bar looks like its loading but it takes way too long some times it never finishes. In XP there wasn't even a delay it was instant loading.

Have you tried running as administrator? I've never used it with Vista, but I know that can solve some access restrictions.

I do run as an admin, also I wasn't very clear this is loading directories in my phone like listing the contents of my phones memory or SD card when copying things over the phone to my computer.
