View Full Version : No Phone Signal

For some unknown reason, my Fuze stopped picking up phone signal the other day. The little No Phone Service icon is in the top taskbar.
The only thing that I had changed recently was installed Opera 9.7 over 9.5 (shouldn't matter).
It still gets data. I installed the SIM card in another phone and it works fine, so it is definitely my Fuze. I tried a soft reset. I tried removing my battery. I tried doing another Connection Setup. I reflashed the radio. All not effective.
All that I can think of now is to do a hard reset (and why not flash a new ROM!).
Anyone else have this problem and any solutions?
Thanks.

Yep! Same problem, sorta. I created a thread on my issue too. I'm going to try to return mine today for a new one. Mine is only a month old. They better not try to push a refurb on me.

I ended up doing a hard reset and flashing a new ROM (EnergyROM 3.0). Problems solved. Never figured out problem, but it was clearly a software issue.

I also tried the EnergyROM 3.0.......it was the last ROM I had on here before I flashed it back to stock. My issue is a little different though. Mine will have signal for varying amounts of time, then I can't access internet, can't place/receive calls. Though my status icons show I'm connected 3G. I reboot phone then status icons show no connectivity at all...........if I lay the phone down for a bit and come back to it, I may or may not have service again. Very frustrating........
