HTC WM 6.1 on T-Mobile Dash Causes Bluetooth Connection Problems

I use a T-Mobile Dash and recently flashed my ROM with Windows Mobile 6.1 from Kavana. I love the layout and uses but I have encountered a problem.

When I am using my bluetooth headset for phone calls, my device shuts down without provocation. I can be in the middle of a call and then lose the connection. I check the phone and it is off. After rebooting, I have noticed a considerable amount of battery power has been used for even a short time. (The last time this happened, I was on a call for less than 3 minutes and the battery, which was full before dialing, was down to 83%.)

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Replace the battery, its been a known problem and been discussed on here many of times.

Thanks for the quick reply. I have just returned from the local T-Mobile store with a new battery. I will try this out and report back.
