Quiet ringin volume on HP 914c was driving me crazy
I googled Around and found solution
Now it works great!

Edit the registry:

HKCU/ContrlPanel/Phone

-"Vol" = 70000

HKCU/ControlPanel/SoundCategories/InCall/

-"InitVol" = 5

HKCU/ControlPanel/SoundCategories/Ring/

-"InitVol" = 5

HKCU/ControlPanel/SoundCategories/System/

-"InitVol" = 5
