It's there a way to change the start menu icons??
Have been searching for about 2 days and no luck for me...

I am also interested in changing the main menu icons.
But as far i can tell there is no great enthusiasm among
people in this forum to get this going...
Anyway, the guy that posted the thread knows how to do this...
I only changed the original icons to a background ones to make
them look better.

the thing is, is there a way to examined that .cab to know what to do or something?

I can make you a CAB for WM 6.5 Prof Style icons and one for Snap-alike icons!

Hey frauhottelmann
Could you create a cab or .dll(even better) containing icons for
bunch of default and not default programs (fring, twitter etc...)
So when we use it if we have the program it will change the icon
if not... nothing will happen....
And if we like to be able to change the icons in the .dll
That would be awesome!!!
We could call the people to create a list of programs we use...
And we could create icon collections or something...
That would be great...
btw could you teach me how to do it my self?:eek:

i'm insterested as well in learning how to create and change the icons on the start menu.
