I love this interface, is there any software developers that would be willing to pick this project back up. I know on thewingster website he said that support has been dropped, i think that i would be nice for someone to continue support for it.

Only because it was upgraded to 2.0.

It's up to 2.1 now.

And it's not open source, so developers will not be able to pick it up unless they release the code.

Yea, it was "upgraded" to 2.0 version, but the 2.0 version is completely different.

I personally perferred the classic 1.0 version, that version that I have on my Wingster site. It was more of an interface "replacement". I bet lots of other people perferred the classic version too. I wish we could develop it, but it's probably not possible :(

+1 as well. I've used that for months before I switch to Manila. TTran did a great job with the PointUi.

Ttran didn't make PointUI. He just placed it in a ROM. ^_^
You're right though, PointUI 1.x was more like a full GUI replacement, instead of just a partial gui replacement. But there are a lot of addons for 2.x, too, as well as skins, to expand it.

Yeah, I should of been more specific. That's what I meant.
