Artemis P3300 WIFI

Hi 2 all!

My first post but I'm not a new reader:)
this forum saved me from troubles with many experimental roms installed on my previous HTC Himalaya, and my actual HTC Charmer and HTC Artemis phones...
so thanks to all for their contribute!

My question regards the WIFI! I have bought this phone as a WIFI included,
but till now I couldn't turn it on!
Conn MGR is not showing a Wifi network! shall it?

I have an Atemis P3300 came from a UK T-Mobile MDA,
I have tried many WM5 Roms,
some cooked WM6, WM6.1 and WM6.5 (slowest ever) then now I'm back to the stable WM6.1 ita.

is there a driver I should install?
how can I know if my hardware includes or not the WiFi component?

I did some researches,

maybe it's just the Comm Mgr wrong in my Rom!

I'm now looking for a new MGR "Comm manager 1.75 (Multi style)" compatible with Artemis,
I've tries the "HTC Touch Comm Mgr" cab file but it did not work with Artemis!
Does anyone have the CAB file of the above requested?

It's the same comm MGR available in the Black & Blue v4.3 Rom, or used in all the new 6.1 and 6.5 roms..

If anyone can find it I would appreciate if he can upload somehow,

I've read the post (posts) related,
probably my problem is the same of that guy with Prophet PPC,

I have a Hard SPL (1.11) so I've tried:
pdocread -n 1 0 0x40000 CID.bin
pdocread -n 1 0x10000 0x4000 -b 0x4000 GSM.bin

and I've got 2 files:
CID.bin 256K
GSM.bin 16K

Then tried:
pdocwrite -n 1 cid.bin 0 0x40000
pdocwrite -n 1 -b 0x4000 gsm.bin 0x10000 0x4000

nothing seemed to happen on my PPC,
tried a soft reset, then tried to turn on WIFI just nothing happened (turned off again immediately!!)

can you or anyone help me with it?

I think that it's better to load an existing italian data!
Can anyone with an italian operator backup the:
CID.bin
GSM.bin
and upload them to Wiki?

hmm.. i got some other problem....

My Orbit connects to wifi .. but after some transmission.. it stops data transfer.. but icons and connection shows that it is connected. but if you turn wifi OFF and than ON.. it again works for some time...
Any one with any solution:confused:

At least your WIFI turns on!
I'm suspecting it's a CIP t-mobile have removed from some of their MDA...

maybe your antenna is not making a good contact...
do you also have problems with calls or gps?
try to upgrade Radio Rom first with a good stable one,
if it will not work, check the antenna..

Hi all, i want to ask to all if someone had solved everthing just doing as our friend aHMETY it's saying??? i am from Dominican Republic and i am facing the same problem wich when i try to turn on the wifi got a load but does not on. many thanks..sorry for my english.

I'll take to upgrade my radio but i'll be waiting 4 your response. Thanks in advance.

i say to flash your device with a good rom, because i think think it is a softweare problem. i am using the rom from mesche, windows mobile 4.02 full with cube and the wireless is ok. you can download it from the first page
