How do you disconnect act sync?

Please help, I have a touch vogue wm6.1 , there is no icon to disconnect actsync as there used to be on wm6, i connect my htc to the pc with a usb cable to do internet sharing, but it starts sync , and I can't find a way to disconnected manually. any solutions please.

I've been using Killsync: http://www.pocketpcfaq.com/applications/killsync.htm for quite a white with no problems at all.

I have it in Quick Launch on my Windows XP computer. Just select and it shuts down Activesync and goes away.

I am usually connected via USB and it is a nuisance to be repeatedly shutting off the Touch.

If you have ActiveSync on your PC, you can choose which files to sync, simply uncheck all of the boxes so that nothing syncs to your computer. This way you do not have to download and install any programs on your vogue.

or go to start, run, type msstartup or msconfig and uncheck the activesync and wescomm and there's another process too, i forget, I'm on win7 now, so Im not quite sure. no need for added programs to take care of disabling the program from the startup list....
