View Full Version : Skip Touchscreen Adjustment

hi everybody,

is there a way to skip the touchscreen adjustment after a hardreset?
the touchscreen does not work anymore but all other functions are working.
i would be able to handle the tytn with hardkeys but kaiser stucks in screen adjustment.

Make a file called "welcome.not" in the root directory of your SD card. That will allow you to bypass the screen alignment.

i did so. flashed multiple roms .
none of them worked. evenb with a file welcome.not in the root directory of the sd cart my mobile starts a screen adjustment and hangs.

Try flashing this rom: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=507281 (V4)

It will skip the adjustment part.

Strange. I foolishly did a bad flash on my Tilt, and have had the infinite screen align loop since. "Welcome.not" solved my problems. I just had to come up with a custom registry string to get the screen aligned. Took a long time to come up with a semi-accurate string, though.
