HERO Rom question with Link

Here on this site, they have a video of the rom running, and instructions to download, according to xda developers, you need the new spl. I've heard the new spl "bricks" your phone, from a fellow xda member.

Im running The Dude's Cupcake1.3RC2 [AOSP + ADP1.5] with the HTC Hero v1.3.5 Theme.

I know on here its the Unwatermarked, Officla Hero Rom.

can someone help me with this rom???

Hey im not a pro at this like some of the amazing devs here but there's a thing with the pvt and dvt on the dream in your bootloader if you have dvt your most likely to have brick but i have pvt and i updated radio first than spl and i was stuck at g1 screen for forever!!!!!!!!!!!! like no load. Fortunate my fiancee lives with me she has a G1 as well... so you can imagine... ;) i took her phone put my sdcard in her phone copied a rom because it wasn't loading and phone boots perfectly im actually on JACHero rom now its pretty cool actually kinda slow but really cool. So you really just have to try it for yourself. if it hangs at g1 screen get a card reader or do my thing i did haha and ummm in that video... i'm pretty sure thats haykur0...

Look at the end of the video when the user types a message "hello from hero ;)"

It says a few seconds later on the video from haykur0 sent from web. lol

I bricked my first g1 and had a new one and retried it, read the posts to the t and you will be alright, I used to 2 sd card method to do it and it worked. You know you have a brick if you can't get past the g1 screen, if you get a loop than just wipe and reinstall your rom. You
Have to have a rom ready to go after you install the spl

I keep a copy of the dreaimag for r29 om the root of my card as a precaution and it has saved me as long as you can get in the bootloader. Start from the begining and just reroot, easy enough. Make sure you flash the newest radio first before atempting the spl or you will brick

I have the newest radio, so basically just get the newest spl, install then install a build like the superhero v2? That one seems identical, except the font

I haven't played with any of the hero builds but just be real careful with updating the spl
Follow the instuctions and you will be alright, update the radio then put a second sdcard in with the rom you would like before rebooting. And hit alt + x to restart the recovery and wipe and update rom

The HTC Hero Rom Need alot of space to Run right. But when the Finial release of The HTC Rom come out, thing like bluetooth will get worked out....
