Supposed to be relased by August 2009 this device is said to be the HTC Firestone, sporting an 8 megapixel camera. With a 3.6 inch WVGA screen, 3.5 mm headphone jack, be powered by a Qualcomm 8250 600 Mhz processor and comes with the new Windows Mobile 6.5.

Very nice phone...WinMo is starting to look better..but still not a fan of the Honeycomb effect...it messes with my vision...

Kind of looks like the HTC Hero w/o the Chin and of course with WinMo instead of AndroidOS

The current run of the rumor mill is that the Leo is what was originally believed to be the Firestone. I'd love some 1GHz Snapdragon + capacitive touch screen (http://www.unwiredview.com/2009/07/21/htc-leo-specs-unveiled-snapdragon-chipset-included/) goodness.

and for us USA customers I'm sure we'll get screwed out of the front facing camera - and then of course some of the carriers will disable all the good things, like FM radio if it has one or maybe the GPS...

I've been hearing many variations in this.
Some sites say its a 600 mhz, and others say its a 1ghz cpu.
anyone have any ideas? also, there's a disgreement in the camera: some say its 5 mp, others say it is 8mp. Not too worried about the camera, but the CPU is what I'm wondering about.
If it's only 600 mhz, I'm probably not gonna buy this. I mean, from 528 to 600, that's barely a jump or improvement!

^your right, that small a cpu jump is not worth it. But, I have not seen the final specs yet...
