All files encrypted and encryption program gone

I read my storage card with my laptop reader (it's an 8 gig micro sd), added some files and popped it back into my tilt. suddenly all of the programs that were stored in my storage card became unusable and the storage card encrypted. Nothing shows up on my pc besides a .menc file and it shows as almost full. in the phone everything shows as encrypted but the settings/system/encryption program is gone. what can I do?
