Just an update. the.decoy let me know he is unable to be here for a week or so. He's ok, just busy with some obligations he has to tend to. I know we will all appreciate his return even more when he's able. :D

First page of this thread shows FatBurning Furnace....any one have any idea that any torrent support the full version of that FBF?
Tried search engine managae to get the FBF Book only.......looking for Video or CD too.

Hello Everyone. I'm so sorry I have not been on this thread for a bit. You are not forgotten.

When I returned from Thanksgiving, I found my High Speed Internet had stopped working, and so far, it's not going yet. I'm using my wife's iPhone (pftt Pffftt, spit) to Tether for Internet right now, so I cannot upload a LOT of data.

When I get my Internet back, I will see what I can do to create a more recent ROM for you all. I don't have the P3600i, so I will rely on all of you to test it for me. I don't know what version it will be at that point either, because I have yet to get 28xxx working yet. I'll use the.Decoy's Kitchen to cook a verion for the P3600, then when I know it works for my phone, I'll cook it for the P3600i and let you test it.

I'll keep you informed.

Hi folks, sorry for dropping off the radar like that ... have had a combination of different things keeping me from being active on xda this last 2 months (technically I am still not really back up to speed yet - lots and lots of reading various threads to catch up on before I will be much use for new builds yet).

I was able to PM SuperSport when I first went offline for certain RL commitments but even after that particular distraction was over, I then went straight into my annual holidays from work. So I have been away some more and even now that I am back home I am not online much as I am spending time with my wife instead :o

So apologies for the lack of ROM releases. I am now trying to catch up on what I have missed and will then get back into finishing the kitchen overhaul.

However, there is one thing I would love to get my hands on and that is an original "pdocread" dump from the official (wm6.1) HTC p3600i rom (not that "Dopod, Trinity, Asia, blah, blah" official rom update that was available). Now that I finally understand how to extract all the OEM packages stuff that I want from a rom dump file, I seriously regretting the fact I never did it to my own p3600i before I started flashing roms on it :(

Does anyone have (or know someone who has) an original factory rom'ed p3600i still?


You/they do not need to have any skills with rom dumping. I can send very clear instructions and there is no need for HardSPL or any of that stuff. Simply downloading the pdocread bundle and running some commands that you cut+paste from an email (while connected to ActiveSync) and then upload the dump file to me.

PS: I am also investigating the NK memory address hack that dan15 has posted in the XIP porting thread (squeezes a tiny bit more "usable" memory out of the physical mem by setting the upper boundary address a bit higher). Super? X? Narshon? Chanvi? Has anyone already looked into doing this? He has already posted a modified NK.exe for Trinity but I imagine I will need to do the hex-hacking for myself if I want it in the p3660i NK.exe ...

I can start the camera but couldn' took picture. It just hanged and need to reset. After reset, I realize that the picture was taken and saved. After a few reset it went to setup screen as it was hard-reset, but the contact, messages, application are still there.

I don't know why this happen and I don't have a fix. I just want to share my experience with this hack. Mainly I think I've done it wrong. :D

Now the 23060 without this hack rom, camera works as usual.

Below are the S000 file and screen shot. The rom using 6mb (default) PP.

I never bothered to confirm that the camera bug existed because everyone in that thread already had.

It appear that the htc camera app uses that 3M memory range as some kind of "directly addressed" memory buffer for taking photos.

You take a photo and thereby corrupt a segment your running memory and the system borks.

there is even a few kludges that disable displayign the image after taking it but at the ned of the day it would appear that htc have decided that this extra memory is "off limits" for a reason :(

That list thread is actually long abandoned. I haven't built anything for many months but even still this isn't my most recent build thread (look for the "SuperSport-Decoy" Kitchen thread).

Generally speaking the best way to find the "latest" roms for Trinity/P3600i is to look at what [ROM] threads are still active in the last month.

From what I have seen, the most recent (English lang) roms would those of Narshorn/Ickebins and Supersport.

Also, make sure you are clear about whether you have a Trinity or P3600i as they are different roms.

I create with this Kitchen without any change and uprom my device it can't work:
1 cannot sync with PC.
2 cannot install CAB file
3 No reboot after flash.
4 Like wm 6.5.x but lost many icon.
