Ok so i don't know if this is common or not but i guess ill explain my situation.
Im running Radio 3.42.50 on Verizon Wireless. I am using NFSFAN's 6.5 V11 Rom.
I had previously flashed with the official Verizon 6.1 rom and ran customizations. Locking my GPS. I followed the guide here http://wiki.ppchaven.com/index.php?title=Pocket_PC_WIki:FIX_VERIZON_GPS
Bringing me to the 3.37.78 Radio. Using the GPS Viewer included in NFSFAN's 6.5 rom i was able to see satellites however i could not get any fixes or my location. I got nothing in Google maps.
I then flashed with the Bell 3.09.666.1 rom (i did not run customizations) Bringing my to Radio 3.42.50. Then NFSFAN's 6.5 rom again. This time i was able to get a fix and a location in the GPS viewer however Google Maps still can not get a fix or my location. Perhaps someone can point me to a possible solution for this.
From my observation it seems the GPS viewer connects to the GPS without going through windows while Google Maps does (Google maps shows a huge amount of satellites when set to interface with the GPS on its own and is still unable to find my location.) Perhaps it has something to do with the way GPS is handled in windows.
Yes my location is on and GPS program port is set to com 4, hardware port none and to be managed automatically.
I appreciate any help.
