Mini SD card not recognized

While uploading pictures onto the miniSD card that came with my Touch a few days ago, the window froze and my Touch hasn't been able to recognize the card at all since then. I'm pretty sure it's not a software issue as I've tried a hard reset with no luck, and I'm hesitant on buying a new miniSD card cuz I'm not really sure if it's a hardware issue.

Has anyone experienced something like this at all?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

will the card work in a card reader?

have you tried re-formatting the card?

ok
my phone isnt reading any sd card
my sd card adapter isnt working properly either i've tested it on a video camera that supports sd cards
so is it best to jus get a replacement phone?
