but now it has grown up my head and i don't know what to do??
my phone is not having sound on it... i've searched through many other threads but didn't got any soution... i've open up my uni and checked all the circuits and connections they are intact(proper)...
but when i start beating the back of my uni or start beating up the screen it starts working.. then after a minute or two it stops... then i've to do it again... according to me there is no problem with the speakers... i think there is some problem with the screen
if anyone has a solution or recommendations then pls tell me.. i'll be highly thankful

sounds like h/w. how have you checked connections? the usual culprite is the headphone socket. if you have Uni opened up, then check the contact is being made properly when plug is removed (use multimeter).

sir thanx for a reply.. but i don't use my headphones. it has been a long time that i've used them... so how can be there a problem due to that???
when i take my phone into the landscape mode it has a higher probability that my uni would be giving some sound...

because it can get dust and muck in it
However if it is s/w, then if you burn another ROM you should not have the same problems. (If that is the case, it may also have been a piece of s/w that you installed).

no sir i've formatted my phone a lot of times.. infact i flash it once atleast in a week time and sometimes even less then that.. becoz there are regular updates available from our great chef's
i'm currently using tomal's 6.5B2.. and in the past to days i've flashed my rom thrice.. earlier with luca's one, then with explode one, at last using tomal's 6.5
so any other guess u can make...????

Well try to take a toothpick and wobble in the headphone shocket as it might have been dust or something that is making uni think that headphone is plugged in while it is not... had same problem ... i flashed many roms and radios and at last tried this and it did work.... So i'll say give it a go...
