Hi guys, the next update is ready for upload! But I'm searching for some guys who can help me to translate my ROM into other languages! If you think you're the one who can help me, contact me at: animelover@email.de with subject "Clean Black Nike Translation your Lang-ID (see below)"!
These languages are planned: DAN (0406), FRA (040C), NLD (0413), NOR (0414), PTG (0816), RUS (0419), SPA (0C0A) and SVE (041D)! I'll give you all tools neded for translating the wanted files! Other languages also may be possible!
(Still searching for official HTC ITA (0410) ROM 2.09) :D

first I had the same problem like you. But after trying this a second time with a different version and also installing the language file I managed to use hardware keyboard with german quertz layout. I guess I managed to go ahead with this version: BJK_HTC_EzInput_QVGA_CpKbd_0409_RC2.cab. My Nike has 20 keys keyboard.

Beside this I can agree that there is a sync-problem.
The mobile device center won't sync with my Nike, like already been mentioned. Looks like the phone is not recognized by the mobile center.

Any advice?

Actually not, but will try to fix it! I think I know what's the reason for! But I have to play with my new toy, the Touch Pro 2! :D

Just try to do one or more soft reset after installing the keybord. This way I could get the keyboard running at more then one installion of this Rom.

I have Flash this ROM over the Insomnia 2.051 with the Hardreset Option and... what can i say ... surprise :eek: .... all Function works ... ActiveSync 4.5 with Enhanced Network ... Camera is working ... and all in German :D ...
I´m soooooo Happy :D:D:D ... weiter so ... ups ...

Hi Guys!

Cannot install this Rom!
i got the touch dual with currently installed HardSpl1.22 and WM6.1.

On installation process, the device will be reset and the screen switches to grey with 0%. after a while pc says update error.
luckily my device works after removing the battery.

Any hints on this??

That's FileExplorerEx, an addon for the default file explorer! And yes, I know that there is a problem with the keyboard! I'm still trying to fix it!

OT: which keyboard does your nike have? does it work?

BTT: try a different cab? net framework should be cooked into the rom, and that error mainly means a broken .exe file

i had to hardspl again. after this it worked.
i got now another problem.

this ROM is for 16keys but i got 20keys.
as the keyboard doesn't work at all, i installed ezinput,
but now i can't use the keyboard at all.
only symbols and digits are accepted :( so cannot write any email/sms

i now started the tool usbswitch (found in a forum here) on my htc touch dual.
It changed the usb-connection to serial.

Now Vista recognized my niki and sync works with windows mobile device center too.

First impression: Fast and stable. The Keypad is working (Well done!!).

After installed

1. i like the dragon boot screen
2. on Dragon Today Themes, to much space between item menu, make me hard to find the item menu on the bottom
3. got touchscreen delay or need to push the screen to hard to active the item on file explorer and picture media (only if it has much item in the list) and also i notice in some 3rd party application like sktools. it is really annoying sometimes. azharsunny application did not help at all. the touchscreen problem did not happen on the today screen and startmenu
4. no task manager, i think it really needed (yeah i need to installed it my self coz it is the clean version)
5. No battery indicator on today (must disable clock status to make it show)

the major problem for me is the touchscreen delay or need to press hard on screen on any application that have to many item on the list. later i notice it also happen it today theme list coz i have many tsk file on storage card

To the people getting "Can't start bluetooth" from Comm Manager, you'll need to do a registry edit to fix this, which means a permanent fix will require a re-cook by the chef.

Code:

Navigate to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\CommManager

Delete the following key, not the value but the entire key:

BluetoothPlatformType

After changing the registry, soft reset & it should be able to start bluetooth from Comm Manager.

I'm not using this particular ROM, but I did get this error when I cooked my own using the Rhodium Comm Manager. I found this thread while searching for a fix, before I determined what it was by mucking about with my device.

I'll keep an eye on this thread to make sure it worked for you guys as well.

Ok. I know this is in the wrong forum but I think this is bugging alot of people. I was using calk's newest kitchen (which is awsome, thanks calk) and the tap delay was still there. I still use touchflo because not everything works without it. I found the following reg entry in the rgu in OS folder in the kitchen:

1. i like the dragon boot screen
2. on Dragon Today Themes, to much space between item menu, make me hard to find the item menu on the bottom
3. got touchscreen delay or need to push the screen to hard to active the item on file explorer and picture media (only if it has much item in the list) and also i notice in some 3rd party application like sktools. it is really annoying sometimes. azharsunny application did not help at all. the touchscreen problem did not happen on the today screen and startmenu


4. no task manager, i think it really needed (yeah i need to installed it my self coz it is the clean version)
5. No battery indicator on today (must disable clock status to make it show)

Ok. I know this is in the wrong forum but I think this is bugging alot of people. I was using calk's newest kitchen (which is awsome, thanks calk) and the tap delay was still there. I still use touchflo because not everything works without it. I found the following reg entry in the rgu in OS folder in the kitchen:

If you have HardSPl allready successful flashed, you don't need to SuperCID your device! Just flash the ROM you want! :)

I've noticed and added it, thanks for this hint! But I can't say when the Update will be available, because of some work I have to do at home! But I can promise you, that there will be more lanuages available when the Update comes out! ;)

4.) I don't like the HTC Task Manager and my lovely WkTask doesn't look very well on WM6.5! So it's your choice which Task Manager you want to use but if some other guys want the HTC one integrated I'll do it so!

willst du die aktuelle start animation durch eine andre ersetzen?
wenn ja, kannst du das so machen:
Das tool J.S. Advanced Configuration Tool auf deinem Niki installieren.
Das tool starten -> auf HTC Animation (kann auch startup animation heissen) klicken -> bei der Option GIF file den pfad deiner animation angeben -> auf done unten links klicken und deinen niki neu starten ... danach sollte beim start deine animation erscheinen ;)

Can't install EZInput 1.5 or 2.1.

On 1.5 nothing happens, on 2.1 system stucks in HTC bootscreen. With 6.5.1 there was no problem with 2.1.

Edit: I'm not able to install any keyboard (RescoKeyboard prompts "initialisation error").

Be sure you have a Radio 1.65.xx.xx (or higher) on your device to prevent a non-working Camera! I can't guarante that all is translated into your language! There's a bunch of tools which can't be translated by me, sorry!

I'm using Radio 1.65.28.25 at the moment and all works fine! Used my Nike for the last week since I was cooking for my Rhodium and didn't wanted to customize it at all! :D

Radio siehe oben und Bluetooth funktioniert ohne Probleme! Hatte spasseshalber mal meine alte XAiOX Wonde-XL per BT angeschlossen und konnte navigieren, auch wenn der Akku der GPS-Maus seeehr schnell wieder alle war! :p

Ich weiss ja nicht wie es bei dir ist aber ich habe mit der aktuellen 6.5.2 eine Prozentanzeige über dem kleineren Akkusymbol! Ein Blick ins Changelog hilft manchmal und traue niemals jedem Bild! :cool:

Well, I can't reproduce your error's! But you can customize the locking feature in the settings with "Smart Lock" (allready included in this ROM)!

Gar nicht, es sei denn du findest ne CAB zum nachinstallieren dieses Features, also der HTCAnimation! Ein Blick in die Inhaltsliste sollte ausreichen!

Ich hatte vorher 2 andere 6.5er Roms getestet. Dabei hatte ich Radio 1.71 draufgemacht. Später hab ich dann dieses Rom geflasht und voila 1.71er Radio und dieses Rom. Aber ich werde auf 1.65 Radio wechseln. Vielleicht kommt daher mein Internetverbindungs Problem bei Titanium Weather.

Hab ja auch das Hero ANdroid Rom mit auf der SDHC Karte und wenn ich mich mit dem Googlemarket verbinden will um neue Apps zu laden hab ich auch VErbindungsprobleme obwohl ansonsten alles sehr gut funktioniert. Meine neue GPS BT Maus ist schon bestellt und bezahlt. Müßte diese Woche noch hier eintrudeln und dann kann ich testen ob auch das navigieren unter diesem Rom und BT fehlerfrei funktioniert.

Soo auch das neu flashen des Roms und das aufspielen der 1.65.28.25 Radioversion brachten keine Besserung bei titanium weather. HAb außer der v3e Version auch die v3.1.2 probiert--->selber Effekt. Immer kommt diese Fehlermeldung:

Couldn't establish internet interpreter.Connection

Line 130 (\Program Files\TitaniumWeather\TitaniumWeather.mscr):connec t("The Internet")


Internetverbindung via UMTS und eplus ist konfiguriert und Internet über den opera 8.6.5 oder den Internet Explorer funktioniert auch.

Update ich hab die Lösung. Liegt nicht am Rom. Deutsche Nutzer müssen das Script im Installationsordner von Titanium Weather ändern. Hier (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=358952) ein Link.

TROUBLESHOOTING/INTERNATIONAL
One user reports that the code used to automatically connect to the internet fails on his device. Changing the Connect() call as follows fixed it:

Original line:
Connect("The Internet")
Change to:
Connect("Internet")

Try that if the script complains for the connect call.

Dazu die Originaldatei auf den PC laden und mit Notepad öffnen. "The Internet" unter edit und suchen eingeben die Zeile ändern, speichern und vom PC ins Verzeichnis auf dem HTC kopieren und ersetzen, fertig. Funktioniert danach einwandfrei. Endlich wieder das aktuelle Wetter auf dem Nike :D

I installed many different custom roms in the past. Till now, only the origin htc wm6.1-rom lets me use my cell for about 3-4 days without charging. What about yours?

Hey animelover, deine ROM gefällt mir sehr gut. Ich habe jedoch ein blödes problem. Bei der älteren Version 6.5.1 hatte ich Esmertec Jbed installiert und konnte ohne weiteres Jad datein öffnen und benutzen, bei der neueren Version deiner ROM ensteht folgendes problem:

Erstes problem: Bei Start -> Einstellungen -> Persönlich -> die Anwendung "TTY" funktioniert nicht bzw. lässt sich nicht öffnen.

Zweites Problem: Bei Start -> Einstellungen -> Persönlich -> die Anwendung "Telefon" für die Telefoneinstellungen ist nicht vollständig, z. b. ist der Reiter "Dienste" nicht vorhanden und beim Reiter "GSM/UMTS Services" kann man keine Einstellungen vornehmen.

Ansonsten wäre noch die anwendung "Long Press End Key" von vorteil für die Tastenspeere, aber nicht wichtig oder ein andres tool um die end taste zu belegen.

Currently I'm using Build 23071 as cooking base! I use it on my Touch Pro2 too and I'm loving it! If all goes right, I'll release Build 21055 version, too! And other languasges will come just in the time of head! So, please be patient, a Netbook isn't a good machine if you're cooking some hours in one piece! ;)

nope, same thing.

Flashed the firmware in thread and no issues, then

Tried radio "1.71.09.01" first but it returned an error at the end (could not write)

Then i took "1.65.28.25" instead which flashed w/o issues..

Then i flashed "the Clean Black 6.5.2 SVE (041D)" rom again and got the same error..

Smart Mobility and the radio version etc below..

Clean Black 6.5.2 (OEM 2.16.831.3) sve (swedish edition) is corrupted or has some error in it which prevents it from booting.. Tried downloading it again just in case for some other error along the way with no success..

Downloaded the german version as the author is german and has most definately tested it and it worked 1st try..

...whilst I love the styling and feel of this ROM I've hit a major blockage. If anyone can help please advise.

I use TomTOM Navigator 6 in the car, often without external power connection. Corporate enforce a password lock policy and after 10 minutes the phone locks but using the old classic screen rather than the new windows default lock screen as selected under settings.

From this point I can't unlock the device and removing the battery then drives the whole device into a reset and all settings and data are lost.

You can see I need help!!

you can see the radio version with doing soft reset and then wait for the letter in red in the bottom of welcome screen. or you can also see it in setting, device information. hope this help

I found some Problems:
If I select "Music" in my (German) Titlemenu the Bar changes to Windows Media but nothing happens. I can't play Music from there.
Also the USB to PC Sync won't allow me to choose Mass Storage. Errormessage is that I need a Memory Card. I have one in the Device, so this is kind of strange.

it only has a few minor bugs, really eye catchy. and other input method works. at least for fitaly it works.
ive been using it now. leave this rom since no reply from the kitchen cook

diese rom benötigt eine radio version ab 1.65 ... heisst soviel wie du muss noch ein neues radio flashen.

das radio flasht du einfach wie ein rom drauff, danach sollte dein problem behoben sein ;). jetzt nachdem du alles schon erledigt hast und das neue rom eingespielt hast, sollte es kein problem mehr darstellen die radio version zu flashen.

In deinem letzten Rom, war die Funktion zwar da, kam aber immer die Meldung "Bitte zuerst Spiecherkarte einsetzen", obwohl die Karte bei den Infos angezeigt wird. CardExport geht auch nicht, wär schön wenn eins von beiden gehen würde, ansonsten sind deine Roms super.

hi i have a problem i can't execute the HTC Audiomanager i get a error that the audiomanager is not signed with a security certificate but i need this tool because i have the HTC RC E100 remotecontrol and this remotecontrol works only with the HTC audiomanager and with the WMP mobile and the WMP isnt a good mediaplay

I had the same problem. I could not use the ROM PTG.

I have installed HardSPL 1.22 and the 1.65.29.22 radio.

Other ROM´s like "Clean Black 6.5.2 SPA (0C0A)", "New NIKE Kitchen WM6.5 23016 / HTC Mega Port NEW 24.09.2009", or the "[31-10-2009][WWE] FINAL Insomnia v3.20 - 21869 & v3.25.1 - 23081" works fine. Unfortunately they are not in Portuguese.

Ich habe mit dem ROM das Problem, dass beim Telefonieren der Gesprächspartner ziemlich laut ist und ich diese Lautstärke nicht minimieren kann. Unter Windows Mobil 6.1 konnte ich mit einem Touch auf das Telefonsymbol ganz oben in der Leiste diese Lautstärke regulieren, jetzt kann ich dort leider nur die normale Handy-Lautstärke für Klingeltöne und das System konfigurieren. Gibt es dafür eine Lösung?

You can't install any keyboard software (and no navigation) on CleanBlack 6.5.2 , i don't know what language you need, try CleanBlack7 (21887 its the only CB7 with win-logo on top) and you can install any input software.

Yeah, you're right and that's why I'm thinking about moving to another hoster!




BTW:
My new ROM seems to be very stable now! Only fixing some small issues and a preview will come these days! Remember: this will definitively be my last ROM for Nike! My time is over there! ;)

just flashed my niki100 with Clean Black 6.5.2 WWE (0409).the rom is impressive but i have one problem.i can't received any file through bluetooth i check all the settings but to no avail,it is always failed.i had a 1.71 radio version.is there any solution for this problem?pls help me.:cool:

hi, i'm new here, i have a htc touch dual currently running wm6.5 Clean Black 6.5.2 how can i downgrade back to wm6.1. i tried few times by using rom provided by htc website but failed. can anyone suggest me what to do?
