Hello all,
I'm having a bugger of a time with this one & I hope you guys can help.
I've got opera 9.5 on my diamond & until recently I had it tweaked so that when I used opera's search it gave me the full Google results page rather then the mobile version.
However I've recently done a hard reset & I'm struggling to rediscover this one.
Anybody out there know the secret of this?

Try opra:config
Also in setings tab you just have to select: identify as desktop computer instead as a handheld

Thanks for the assist but I've trawled trough opera:config but no joy & mobile view is off. As I scratch my head I'm pretty sure it was an .ini file type that needs to be edited but so far all the changes I've made don't work for me

OK I got it sussed!
With total commander go to \Windows\Opera9\locale\ & use the inbuilt editor to open search.ini
When it is open scroll down to [Google] & find the url field & paste http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=%s&num=%i in place of the redirect opera url
Save it & you should now have a full size google search for the UK from your opera browser.
Enjoy
