I have an OPAL with hard-spl but i was wondering if one of these methods for flashing roms is safer than the other or if RUU is popular is easy. A buddy of mine has a Dream and there isnt an RUU for those so he flashes from sd and it seems safe to me. i tried it last time i updated my rom using the same nomonclature as his and it worked, (opalimg.nbh) i was just curious if there have been more problems with one or another.
