I've installed yesterday evening the last rom. Its great, really fast and stable.

I have a problem with Excel:confused:: i cannot start it, neither in the TF program-menu, neither in wm6.5 office folder...

Then, another problem with the zip files.... everytime I open a zip file, a window pops up and tells me (in italian)"Errore Impossibile aprire Zip Mobile. Riavviare il dispositivo e riprovare."

I have reset more times, and reinstalled the rom but nothing changes...

Have an idea?

ricordati sempre che noi italiani in fatto di aggiornamenti rom siamo sempre più indietro di altri paesi....
perciò per riuscire a fare rom stabili e aggiornate,il più delle volte bisogna fare salti mortali e traduzioni per rendere anche i VOSTRI dispositivi al Top...
Questo richiede tempo e duro lavoro...
penso che minimo una birra lo chef se la merita!!!!

always remember that we Italians in terms of ROM updates are even further behind other countries ....
so to be able to do rom stable and updated, more often have to do flips and translations to make even your devices to the Top ...
This takes time and hard work ...
I think at least a beer if the chef deserves !!

same thing for me too.
then i noticed that sometimes when you write a sms or a city name in weather tab with phone keypad only recognize numbers also with t9 ON and sometimes t9 will be disabled.

here's my list:
in control panel I can not find 'energy management' icon (usually battery icon) ....
[(setting found thanks to 'Matrix the Warrios') see post below]
seems I miss some other control panel icons too... like the icon to wipe the phone
I confirm can not open 'clock and alarms' from control panel
can not set time in calendar appointments
Footprint crashes
SMS are working both from Manila and Windows but not from contacts page
and this is the only ROM 6.5 I tested where alerts, SMS and voice calls sound
is working while phone in stand-by, flashing green led is working too.
I notice a very high memory usage from gwes.exe, it starts with 12Mb but
using the phone goes easily to 24Mb, anybody having same issue?
anybody knows any working action screen for Topaz?
I tested 2 for HD but they just don't work.

I don't know if it is a bug or not, but facebook integration in Manila doesn't work.
I totally agree with errevi...same issues for me, also the high memory usage.

I find some bugs too...when I try to launch Footprints from the Manila bar it makes me an error message: "Impossibile aprire il file 'htcfootprints_engine'.Firma digitale con certificato non disponibile o impossibile trovare uno dei componenti. Se il problema persiste, reinstallare o ripristinare il file." I also confirm the appointment and the button "Orologio e Avvisi" problems.

Al momento, se non sbaglio, molte ROM con Manila 2.5 presentano questa caratteristica.

Hi Infido,

I'm using LP EVO V Rom. that's really a good one, but still some bugs are to report:
1) sms form contact not working (blank screen.. pretty annoying!)
2) facebook integration not working (from my personal data)
3) footprints not working - error when opening the tab (so i removed it!)
4) still not able to use my personal location - not sure why, but the connection is not working (though all the other internet-related stuff do work)

so far i didn't find out other big issues.

hope this helps you... keep on going with your excellent work - also for italian that live abroad!!

Ciao Infido, il discorso degli sms oltre ad essere fastidioso impalla anche il palmare.
Almeno è quello che succede a me con la tua rom.
Per il resto la trovo bellissima, ma il bug degli sms dai contatti è francamente fastidioso.

very nice rom !

Testing it I found this bug:
- camera is not working (of course also video capture is not working), I got error "Impossibile inizializzare macchina fotografica..."
[EDIT] now it is working...

- Album is not working well, when called from contact to choose a picture the soft keys are not present (so it's impossible change directory...); when used alone pressing left soft key button Album I got a white screen named "Scatti fotocamera" and tapping X it sound beep beep...
And when in Album the cell connect to internet automatically (maybe becouse it has sharing function...) !

- in internet favorites is missing soft keys but tapping left means exit and tapping right open an empty 3 lines menu...

- it is not possible send sms from contact (I know this limit for previous version but I was thinking it was ok for the new one; maybe I can try to install the SMS fix ?
[EDIT] I read now that the SMS fix is included in new rom but for don't work.

- sometimes pressing back in contact doesn't return to home but it goes in other setting menù (it seems the last used...); this will happens always if contact is started from home shortcut (I added People program...)

- program "people" launched from home shortcut doesn't return to home but it goes in other setting menù...

- PushInternet no more available ?

At first time camera for me was not working, now it's ok.
I confirm that using HTC album it start data connection (I think due sharing function "Condividi")

Still remain the following problem:

Ho scaricato l'ultima versione LP EVO VI, il file che mi permette di installarla a mezzo PC, il "radio" 4.49.25.17 e "HSPL" 1.83... Ecco i dubbi:
mi pare di capire che prima di procedere dovrei lanciare l'HSPL, che cosa succede al mio telefonino? Me lo sblocca, ma posso continuare ad usalro con la ROM diciamo "nativa"? Nel senso che se non procedo oltre il mio phonino continua a funzionare come prima?
Chiarito questo dubbio dovrei procedere all'installazione della tua ROM, vero?
Una volta installata dovrei moificare la "radio" con la versione 4.49.25.17 vero?
A questo punto dovrebbe essere tutto OK!!!?
Ultimo dubbio, se volessi tornare indietro posso reinstallare la ROM originale HTC; e quando uscirà (se mai uscirà) potrò installare al ROM originale HTC con WM 6.5?

You need to apply that splrelocker, and to flash the original rom. Maybe radio too if it's not overwrited.

I'm pretty sure that with your previous rom EVO IV when I tap on "Invia Messaggio" it open classic SMS program not the "sms tab"...this is becouse it was with Manila 2.1 ?

The search of the wireless is continuous too.
Another bug is that the today's page of TF3D doesn't refresh...it happens if pressing the volume down button and expects that the volume window disappears.

La ricerca dell antenna wireless è continua anche se si è connessi
Un altro bug è che il Today del TouchFlo non si aggiorna...ciò accade solo se si preme ad esempio il tasto per abbassare il volume (nella schermata Oggi) e si aspetta che si ritorni alla schermata iniziale.

Aspetto la versione col Manila 2.5! :)

Ho installato la EVO VI e vorrei segnalarti un problema che fin'ora nessuno ha postato.

Il sistema va in crash se si prova ad associare un contatto con il profilo facebook.

Il problema dovrebbe essere risolvibile visto che nella precedente versione V il tutto funzionava alla meraviglia, tant'è vero che ho associato tutta la mia rubrica.

In ogni caso grazie mille per l'ottimo lavoro...annuncio donazione.

I'm trying the EVO VII m2.5...the ROM is stable and fast. I have no problems except this one: when I add a new favourite contact (in the People tab) and try to quick send a sms, it doesn't work. It seems that the quick-sms function doesn't work. The quick call works fine...

Any solution to this?

I think it was disable as Infido has said some post before due to an issue.

Try to send sms with sms icon and not from link"invia messaggio"

I appreciate your job expecilly for tralslation and fast upgrade, day by day.

The last EVO VII is very good, but I want to point up a few bugs...

1. The most relevant is the system crash when I try to associate facebook profile with a contanct on my phone.

2. In Evo VI there was a very good system for sms delivering, with pictures of contact, but in new version we lost this for old stile.

3. The last but not the least is that infido has stopped develop!!!! please continue and thanks a lot (is my donation arrived?)

Perdonami Infido, ero abituato con il vecchio Diamond in cui trovavà la località dalla triangolazione del segnale GPRS.

Ora se ho ben capito non usa più il GPRS ma il GPS e il wifi? Devo quindi stare all'aperto in zona con copertura wifi?

This is a fantastic rom with a lot of new thing.

The only little bug is that in the People tab "invia messaggio" don't work but you can use "Nuovo messaggio" in the messagges tab.

What is the purpose of this? The localization could be usefull if it works with gprs and gps but with wifi and gps I can't see none real application.

Grazie Infido, ora sono riuscito a far funzionare la localizzazione anche se non ho ben capito l'utilità di farla andare solo con il wifi e il gps e non con la connessione gprs e il gps.
La localizzazione dovrebbe poter funzionare ovunque ti trovi utilizzando la triangolazione delle antenne dell'operatore (in effetti è come funzionava nel Diamond). Così com'è impostato ora, invece, devi avere la fortuna di trovarti in un posto con connessione wifi e segnale gps (praticamente solo a casa). Chissa HTC perchè la cambiata?

But meteo localization doesn't work with internet connection trough GPRS? If I'm outside to catch GPS signal I can't connect with wi-fi...
I note that when you check the facebook update from contacts it opens IE and not Opera.
then Flash Opera fix doesn't work with this version of the browser and also opera 9.7 is very slow in this release compared to the 9.5 I used in LP EVO IV.
Can somebody confirm the problems I've explained or they are only in my device?

On version with manila 2.5 i have removed htc_messagging_client from leo:
sms sound notification work
if you tap on "invia messaggio" on people tab sms tab not open,but if you open manually sms tab (from people tab) Work

I have found a new bug.
I have configured l' account email and verified that it works well,
but if I return in Mail - > menu - > impostazione account see again the procedure for l' insertion of a new one account and it does not allow me to modify the setup of that created previously.

I have press the tab e I have configurated my account email.

You have to tap: Start, Messaggi, Imposta Account.
