Hi All,
Can any one from Pune or near by Pune tell me any vendor for good screen guards for Gene. The one which came with my Gene was awsome and lasted for one year or so..after that i have tried some 3-4 new guards but they develop scraches too quickly. Does any one know any particular types to ask from shopkeepers.
Also i read some where that cold lamination should not be done. Will it harm the screen?
Apart from the screen guard if any one knows some other accessory or way then please help.
Thanks in anticipation.

Hmmmm....really started wondering whether i have asked a wrong question/wrond thread or broken some forum rule?? If that is the case i am sorry, i thought screen guard was an accessory.
Or seriously no one knows any thing in this regard?

Its extremely difficult to get any accessory of HTC products in India .
If Pune has a RT Outsourcing branch, please try there.

@Addicted : Thanks for replying man!! Its really drag that we dont get originals for HTC in India. I had a hard time finding one good pair of earphones, once when i lost my earlier ones. I thought of buying some bluetooth stereo headphones but now thanks to Karan i will have a 3.5 mm converter for the same :D.
So coming back to the topic, what most of you do?? use local ones? or any thing different? some special cover or something.

Can you tell us the cost of the same (well, all screen guard for touch screens are the same, as far as I know ;)). Also, from where did you buy it (I mean road side hawker, nokia authorized dealer, whatever).
I am asking this because I gifted my extra screen protector to someone (totally unworthy :p)
Thanks

Screen protectors for HTC phones are available in almost all shops in the sector-18 market Noida. Your best bet would be to go to a shop which advertises HTC phones outside them. They are sure to have most accessories. I have seen atleast 2 such shops in the Atta market :) Cost : approx Rs 100.

Dont use that film much buddy, it damages the touchscreen slowly. Trust me when i say that. i have seen a person's screen go berserk when he was removing it for applying a fresh one, and he was taking utmost care at that time. But somehow, the upper layer of his screen came off with it from many places and touch sensitivity gone.
