Sim card missing :( how to enter puk?

I had to change to a new sim card today, but after i turned on the phone it said something like "no sim card" i know i have to enter the puk code but got no clue how to do that or where its done :( i tryed to put the old simcard back but now it says the same error, i been googling the past 2-3 hours, this is so confusing, eanyone know how to fix it :confused:

puk code is for sim cards which have been blocked because the sim code was typed wrong more then 3 times
it's not a phone code
you can put the sim card in any phone and open it again using the puk code
sounds like you think the puk code is a code to fix the phone which it is not

skal man ikke indtaste en puk kode første gang sim kortet bruges? sidder helt fast og har ingen ide om hvad jeg skal gøre for at komme vider med problemet

no one type in the sim code one recieved from the phone operator a long with the sim
after that one can change the sim to whatever one wish
and if one later forget that code one can clear the sim code one have forgotten
with the puk code
if your sim card require this operation and you have issues doing so with the diamond
I'd sugest you pop the sim in any other phone had to do that a long time agoe with an
old motorola which had problems in that department

but if it says no sim card that it sounds more like you put the sim in incorrect
or if the sim connector in the phone is somehow damaged

well I think that your phone is broken... I have the same situation, Diamond reads the old sim but have problems with reading the new one... take someone’s simcard and check it...
