Its not really about what you can do, but more about what you should have done....Read...There are tons of threads out there about the DANGER SPL....but never the less that sucks, did you reflash your rom after updating the spl..

Read the general post about upgrading to a hero rom. There's a section about upgrading the spl. One of the steps explains you will get stuck at the g1 screen and how to proceed. Basically you need to flash your Rom after updating the spl.

if u have a memory card reader go get the latest radio and name it to update and put on root of sd card and flash it then get the latest haykuro or w.e spl name it to update and flash it then get cyanogen rom and flash that then u should be good to go..

yeah the only thing is that i cant move from the g1 screen at all i tried to get it in to bootloader mode and it did not worked

if you have adb working on your computer, try this:

adb shell reboot recovery

if you don't have adb working, work on that

take the battery out
go format ur card and put only the cayanogen rom on it (from a card reader)
rename it to update.zip
put the battery back in
hold down home and press the power button (keep holding home)
if u get into recovery
altw alt s

if u cant get into recovery then try to get into the bootloader (camera +power)
download the 1.5 .nbh file and put it in you sd card
flash it and if that works then be careful next time

but if it doesnt work i beleive its a brick

I believe he said that he couldn't get into bootloader. If that's the case its most likely bricked and there's not much you can do except tell T-Mobile that your phone died for some reason and try to get them to replace it. Also, there have been too many threads about this and its in the wrong section. Should be in the Dream Q&A.

Also, sometimes we offer no advice, because when the device is bricked, we don't know what advice to offer, so we tell him its bricked, not out of spite. So lets all get along here kk?

i had the same situation before, pull out batt and hold camera+power to check the spl version now......if its the old spl, try updating again......no worries.....like i said iv been thru ur situation before i was really freaked out too.......
