Hi Guys And Gals,
I know this is a long shot but I thought I would give it a go.
I have a T-Mobile MDA Compact IV (UK locked to T-Mobile) which has become faulty. Now, the fault that I experienced was something related to the touch screen. I reconnected all the internal connectors and its worked once again but did exactly the same thing after a few days. So i decided to cut my losses and decided to sell it on ebay as a faulty item.
Item was bought but then buyer winged it was faulty (obviously didn't read the item listing) and paypal ended up choosing in his favor and as a result I have received it back.
Now, I've received it back a lot more damaged that what it was when it went out and he states something on the motherboard has had it (not quite sure I beleive him and to be honest, I think hes broke it opening it - anyway) and obvious scratch marks and dents to the casing where he has tried to open it.
I obviously have no use for this device anymore as I have bought another phone. This one is sitting here and collecting dust as I do not have the know how to test what is now apparently wrong with it I thought you good people may be interested in maybe getting this repaired etc and using to test diamond roms etc.
It comes with all the stuff (headset, charger, stylus, battery original box).
I'm open to any offers on this (would i be cheeky asking for £30 ish lol) - would suit someone who has spares and has time to spend (possibly money lol) in getting this device working. I know its the equivalent of the HTC Touch Diamond and as such, once working will make nice profit on it, or be a cracking little phone.
Could be used as a test device for Diamond Roms etc.
