Hello all,

I bought this TouchViva with pdaviet's 6.5 ROM already installed. Although it worked fine with the seller's AT&T account, I am having problems keeping a connection with my T-Mobile service. The signal bars are low most of the time, but from time to time it loses signal altogether and searches for up to 30 minutes before connecting again. Sometimes I have to reboot to get a connection. I flashed pdaviet's 6.1 onto it, thinking it might be a bit more stable, but no joy. This is a very sleek sexy phone - but I need reliability too. Can anyone offer any suggestions?

Thanks,
Susan

It's good to know that it's working for you. I noticed tonight that the only way I could get a dropped signal back was to take out my sim card and put it back in. I've tried that before with mixed success but I am beginning to wonder if the sim card is not making a good connection, or that the sim cards moves a bit because it's not really "locked" in place. Any thoughts?

well if your sim card is damaged that could be one of the problems, check the tmobile coverage in your area? and probably the sim card not being locked into place is bad, possibility that it moves to much and the sim card isnt read correctly(i really dont know just making educated guess without the "educated" part :D)
