problem with e-mail notification bubble!!

i have the touch diamond for sprint and the little yellow bubble that tells you how many unread emails you have always says four (4) even tho i have no unread emails. i have tried deleting my email account off the phone and the bubble stays there. anybody know how to fix it other than a hard reset?

First check other accounts, maybe they have unread mails. If that's not the case, try this:

i only have one pop3 email account and sprint picture mail as a default and i triple checked to see if i have unread email...tried the thread u sent me but it didnt work =( any other ideas on how to fix this problem?

Did you also check all the other accounts? There is a default outlook account and maybe even sms/mms accounts.
I once had a welcome message in a default account and searched for a loooong time before I found it. :D

If that and the fix from my earlier link doesn't work I'm afraid I'm out of options :(

it was 4 new welcome messages in my outlook account! thanks man.. i had to go to the inbox drop down menu to realize the new emails were in that account. kinda made me feel dumb :o
