1) Bluetooth not start anymore : not on long press vol up and not in comm manager .
2) The boot screen remain first from fireburned version some seconds and after its continious with your boots screen .

FHM, great ROM, thank you. With the 8MB pagepool it is very fast, but wifi is not working (it finds some networks, but isn't able to connect - tried with my own wifi network of course). Then I tried changing pagepool to 6MB and it helped. Now it is working flawlessly (wifi), but slower than with 8MB. So I will stay with 8MB pagepool.

I flashed the ROM. My cold boot took just arounf five minutes - in fact it was much quicker than earlier version. My exerience about this ROM is good. Only ocassional hangups for a few seconds here and there. I am not a user of WiFi - so can't tell about the bug which a few others experienced. In fact we are using 6.5 version on a device released originally on version 5.0. - so a few glitches here and there may remain. Anyway I have hope that things will improve further later. Good customisation of feather weather in titanium panel. It seems that battery life is better than all other earlier versions including WM6.1 and call quality is really better - more clearer.

Kudos to FHM for his wonderful job.

One question about sliding panel / titanium panel customisation. Is there any way we can incorporate a slide showing MRU icons as in Windows non-sliding default today screen?

One more question - I mostly use RightMenu Key instead of the built in "Contacts menu" in right soft key in non-sliding panel today screen. Is there any way I can use "Rightmenu Key" in sliding panel ?

used your WM6.5 v1.0 (didn't bother with v1.1) and that always ran out of free ram, this ROM doesn't have that problem :D

So problems with Bluetooth and Wifi continue. I can not be turned on. Once I succeeded but then went back to the start softresetu. Frauhottelmann know where is wrong? :confused:Otherwise Rom excellent, and especially again added to the speed. Hi Olda ;)

Things noticed are:

battery life seems excellent now
the rom is alot faster than the previous
the titanium home screen - ccomm (bluestatus alert message)
the iconbar cannot be modified (no biggy - still cool)

overall... the rom is stable...

This ROM is great. Easily and correctly recognises and configures Mobile Phone Service Providers.

However, I have noticed that when I insert the SIM Card into the phone, wifi will not connect, but the moment the SIM Card is taken out of the phone, wifi connects without a problem at all.

Can you please find a solution to this? As others have posted here before, your ROM is destined to be a very excellent one.

wifi and BT work on/off with every comm manager (the white one...accessible thru the panels...and the Dark grey one...qccessible thru QUickList) it works also clicking directly on the panel on the Homescreen

As you said the boo ,seems like the rom itself doesn't have any issue except the wifi.
this is my report after 6 days of use
first of all i flashed my phone with the 8mb version of the rom,and i experienced some annoying issues like:the keypad and the keyboard freeze,the bluetooth doesn't appear in the both of the comm manager,then i reflashed my phone with the 6mb version of the rom (i follwed all the steps as if i was flashing my phone for the first time..meaning i unlock apps it eventough it was unlock etc..) and then all these issues stated earlier are gone,so far my keypad and keyboard aren't freezing anymore,sometime after a boot the bluetooth doesn't work but once i reboot the phone it works.the only time the right soft key freeze was with total commander so for me so far just the bluetotth and the wifi aren't working properly.
i receive sms and mms without any issue,my keypad and keyboard work well (the Fn key too).
one last things.most of the game i used to play with my phone under WM6.5 V1.1 doesn't work with this rom :(

I noticed that the bluetooth seems to give an issue when the phone is turn off and on.
The wifi seems to be able to identify the networks, but cant connect to them.


Its a stable rom, with the two exceptions above.

When you say "freeze", do you mean the menu doesn't appear? Same for me, but if I wait until the backlight turns off, the menu comes back (and stays when the backlight is on again)

Well, I have no problem with the wi-fi and bt. Sometimes after restart the comm manager does not have the setting for wifi or for bt, but after a new restart I can connect to the network. In fact, now I'm writing using the wifi connection.
Maybe i has to do somenthing with the fact I restore all my data and system setting using Sprite Bacup???

I wish to use the following iconbar (follow Link) in Titanium Panels, Titanium Sliding Panels and CHome Panels. I think once I install the cab it will get itself installed in CHome panels. But how to get it done in other panels. Which all icons are to be replaced. I found one set of png files named copy_of_chome_iconba x_xxxxxxxxxxxx.png. Is it also to be replaced with rolaracer's iconbar (png) files) ?

The files for Rinku's iconbar are included! All you have to do is get the theme you want to change to Rinku from Application Data\Home, open it in notepad and replace:

No. it's a close-up shot, red and orange, but the strange thing is, this afternoon it suddenly reappeared with several other pics... yesterday I only had two pics available, wooden panels (portrait & landscape), now the flower is back with the waterfall etc., plus my own camera shots... They definitely weren't in the photo browser yesterday, nor were they available in Home Screen settings... perhaps it took a while for the new build to find them?

I have the trial version of PP on mine and it runs pretty well on the whole but I have some odd things happening in the setup menu when I want to change stuff.

I asked Conduit's support and they said it runs fine on WM 6.5, but no guarantees on inofficial ROMs...

Just wanted to share my experience with V 2.1 of FHM's WM 6.5.
I had my mainboard replaced under warranty on my Vox and when I loaded WM 6.5 V2.1 on the phone enabling the wireless caused it to freeze. Also using the down volume button to enable/disable wireless caused issues. I have now gone back to v 1.1 and everything is working 100%. So many thanks to FHM for such excellent ongoing work, I will stick with 1.1 as it seems for my specific situation to be the most stable.

I tried to use 6.5.2.1 and most functions worked well. But internet connection made problems. I connected phone with my Wlan home network (phone was able to connect) but IExplorer did not work correct. In setting were automatic network detection enabled. Small pages like google worked but if page size were bigger browser hangs. Same result with opera mini and skyfire.

I flashed again but nothing changed. So I skipped back to 6.5.1.
Has anybody else such problems? Or do you know solution?

As you said,I've been using this rom since wednesday and so far i don't have any issues.the Wifi and Bluetooth work great( i can connect to my own network at home and my university network as i used to with the original WM6 stock rom) i can browse big website with Skyfire,Internet Explorer or UCweb without any issue,the volume long press shortcuts work too .the right soft key button hang doesn't happen often as it used to in the older rom (i'am using the 6mb pake pool version of the rom),it's fast,stable,beautiful. all my games and Apps work.

no, the whole freeze is that it doesnt react anymore.
you can only go back to the homescreen, open the taskmanager and kill the application, or restart the phone

I explained in a former post about problems with internet connection. Wifi connected to my home network, but if I try to connect to a bigger internet page IE hangs (and also other browser).
Now I tried to surf via edge or activesync. That works.

Frau Hottelmann - in your discription you wrote "Known bugs - Encryption doesn't work". Does encryption means connection to my router with WPA (maybe stupid question - I don't know anything about these issues) ?

I tried a little bit - and found out that I had to change WLAN settings in connection manager (energy setting) from standard configuration to "power optimized" (I work with german language - I don't know correct name).

But all in all - now it works excellent - so Frau Hottelmann ein echt astreines ROM. Many thanks.

it's due to the server..it's not available so titanium weather can't update..wait and try to update after a few minutes it should work.i've already experienced that issue twice...it's not because of the Rom

it the same thing on Fireburned custom rom with weather because of feather weather server that sometimes is down ..and once more it's not a problem with the Rom

I am not sure, but the titanium weather's mortscript needs to be changed, hope its changed fh?
I have the modified script for PPC, don't know if works on SP or not :p

FHM page pool works just fine..your phone crash because it is getting slow on memory..i'm using the 6 mb version of the rom without any issues.i can listen to music,browser the web and chat via palringo without any issues:)

i think 8 MB pp has some issues with prolonged calls. Even after the calls were completed, the call status window stayed for a long time, and i was unable to access the recently dialled page when i click the "Green Phone" hard key.
I reverted to 6MB pp. Now, these issues went away.

hello, the settings screen of this rom is often not i click on it (start/settings).

I've found how to activate my bluetooth, but bluetooth explore has only detected 1 time my other phone and i'm stuck because my external bluetooth gps device has never been detected with this rom. So i can't use my gps application

Oups I've just realized i falshed the wm65v21 version and that the wm65v22 is available, i'm gonna test it right away

Well, my setings open just fine and my bluetoth gps receiver gets detected and works!
Maybe a bad flash, try again!

I seem to have an issue tho, just flashed to 2.2 (from 2.1) and not everything seems to work; the font looks worse then 2.1 (it looks very pixelly), the ROM Tweaks don't work (says there is no application associated with "FileChanger"), and also half of the icons in start menu are the old ones, and the other half are the newer ones (from snap?). I reflashed already: same stuff. What can I try? Or should I go back to 2.1 :p

That is definately a bad flash. It didn't finish the autostart. Don't let it sit when you do the cold boot. Enter the PIN right away, otherwise it screws up. Or coldboot without a SIM!

any solution? i tried to install the Win7 Slim cab, but no change :/ ah for the the first time i have installed the titanium cab because by installing first the Win7 cab, i got an ugly white clock for the original orange one

Hi, I'm new to flashing, so I'm very sorry for any stupid question I may post. Finally I'm fed up with the original rom and after a short look-around came to the WM65v22.
First try - with Active Sync. It pairs OK, sync works fine also. but when it comes to flashing, the USB connection drops soon after the big progress bar comes up (error 260). I googled for couple of hours and tried number of tricks to get over that unfortunately nothing worked. Then I came up to the another method - flashing from SD. But again - it says Invalid Certificate straight after entering the boot loader. What I'm doing wrong?
I have a HTC-branded S710 - never been loceked to any provider.

going to flash it now with 7 mb pagepool.....

little question: where is the nice little clock? now there is an ugly, pixally one next to the time. the one in 2.1 is much nicer!

You have to do USPL! Look at the sticky!

I'm sorry, I'm not sure I understand exactly what you are talking about. (e.g. what is "uspl" and what is "sticky"?) I googled for USPL and I suppose you mean updating SPL ? I found some ways to do this however I'm not sure these are the correct ones (e.g. this one - http://forum.ppcwarez.org/viewtopic.php?f=179&t=40707&view=previous - it lists devices and there is nothing like vox or s710)...
and one more thing - as it seems there are problems running updates via ActiveSync, will I be able to update my SPL?

I did all the steps on updating SPL (or how you would call this operation?) everything went smooth except for that there is a ROM update utility running on last step for every possible scenario (either to flash the desired rom or to flash a permanent patched SPL - I read it here http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=vox_uspl). And my initial problem was that the rom update utility drops usb connection. My only option was SD flash, but it still keeps saying "invalid certificate"... :(

not a big issue with v2.2.. i've noticed every reboot there is a mortscript process continuously running that takes a small percentage of processor time, not sure what it does, but it must reduce the battery life.

Apart from that, a brilliant rom. :D

This works great!
no freezes at all, no rightmenu bugs!
great speed!!!

so, Frauhottelmann, I advise you to standardly use 7 mb, to have it good for everyone!

So tested Pagepool 7 megabytes and now the system runs perfectly, amazing speed. No problem with the menu and speed to 6 MB or 8 MB is noticeably better. Thank Birdibird, excellent work. I thank you for the type. Hi Olda ;)

I am getting tired of having to add all my custom words back into the dictionary every time I flash my ROM. So I did a quick search and found you need to back up "XT9Cdb.Cdb" and "XT9Rudb.Rdb", from the windows directory.

Sounds easy. The problem is these files are not located in the main windows directory on my ROM anyhow (running WM6.5 v2.0).

So frauhottelmann or anyone, where can i find these two files so i can make a copy of them?

I have flashed ROM ver 2.2 and installed SP1 cab for version 2.2. My WM7 Slim theme should be like the 1st picture (blue) Whereas it is like the 2nd pict (black). The analogue clock is not appearing. Is there any adjustment I have to make or am I going wrong somewhere ?
