Could turn out to be vaporware like Spectec's card, but doesn't every Vogue owner want wifi? I dare to dream.

I daresay, I do agree with denasqu. At first I was obsessed with wi-fi, but after upgrading the internet to unlimited, I didn't have to worry about data caps. Now a wi-fi chip means compromising 16 gb for myself

Nice. The Spectec one is 7mm too long so it sticks out of the Vogue. This one is only 1mm longer which hopefully allows it to fit inside the phone. I was all about getting one up until a month ago when Verizon added service by my house and now I get full bars but its still something I'd invest in if it fit my phone closed.:)

the article says the antenna takes up about a third of the card, wonder if it will still have storage or just be wifi reciever.

How much would it cost? It must be pretty $$$. I haven't seen a price anywhere on google. I'd be interested though as I don't yet have the cash for a $30 a month data plan.

I would say buy a new with phone WIFI but the Vogue is the only WM phone that you can have with Verizon without a data plan. BLOODSUCKERS

That's exactly why I went with a Vogue. Well, that and when I came up for renewal last year the Vogue was free. But I wouldn't have done it if they'd forced a data plan like they do with the other models.

Seems like they are running out of blood. Acc. to a vzw rep they are planning to roll out some new phones w/o data requirement or a lock on gps.... yeah right. I would bail to sprint but that seems like a sinking ship now.

You can use the HTC Titan (Verizon xv6800) and Samsung i760. Both have WIFI and Verizon doesn't require data plan on these. The only WM phones with WIFI that Verizon doesn't require data.
