Hi

I was wondering if its possible to change the settings of the volumebuttons so that you can go to the next or previous song when you hold them down? Just like sony ericsson phones do?

of course it is.

oh, you want more, you can for instance use a key settings customizer that grabs all the keys before the actual windows settings do and allows settings for press and "press & hold" or you can just go in the player settings, like in tcpmp, allow the player to capture all buttons (like games) and assign the volume slider to skipping tracks. and next time post in the right section.

yeah, maybe you should give a little more information, like your device, your rom, your country, how much you are willing to spend on such a program...

and why wouldn't tcpmp work on your device, i thought it ran on about every device out there. i saw it on coffee makers and atm machines ;)

but yeah, in general ae button plus is very nice and gets the job done, or spb pocketplus, but that has a lot of baggage and is only really useful if you want all of the features.

first link would be:

just a few of the many results, google gives you for this.
