Frequently getting System crashes

Hi,

as I've switched to wm6.5 recently, i'm currently using my phone a lot... unfortunately, i also recognized, that i'm having strange problems since switching... after installing all my cab files and applying all my tweaks, etc. the OS will not launch any apps anymore, followed by not booting after a softreset, i have to hard reset. this is happening on any ROM so far, and i've tried letting several cabs i need out, however it still results in that kind of crash...
anyone having similar experiences? or is there a fix for this?

WM6.5 is not yet very stable, some crashes appear ramdomly as far as I can see too...

And I think some "old" stuff is not really compatible with it (I think there are more changes than the UI in 6.5)

Let's hope newer releases will correct thoses crashes...

yep, i guess you're talking about normal "lock-ups"...however i HAD hardresets...
i was able to fix it by just reflashing the stock 6.1 rom, and then flashed back to 6.5 without switch radio... its working fine until now... i'm gonna report if i have any problems

I've noticed the same. When I go to File Explorer and My Device, it seems most of the files have been deleted, including the windows folder, and the remaining ones have been corrupted (they have names like b[]). If I try to restart the device it won't boot and requires a hard reset.

I've also noticed that this happens after I've synced with ActiveSync for the SECOND time.

EDIT: This issue does not occur with d_train's ROM (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=497347).

With 6.5 roms (what I've been tested) my Niki100 freezes when I starting to enter a name (with soft keyboard) in the new mail/SMS address field. Hard keyboard works perfectly...

I tried with WM6.1 and it freezes too. I think the Full QWERTY keyboard do this...

well, these issues have stopped for me, after reflashing the stock 6.1 rom! maybe you should try that as well ;)
