I just came across this and ifonz today , i couldn't get ifonz to run right but this one works great. ill wait until you have widgets finished for the clock and such b4 i actually use it as my home screen. Its a nice piece of programing..

Wow -- super intuitive holding and icon appears on desktop. Hold again to then drag to where you want it. Really smooth.

I have not arranged it yet but I *finally* "get" why you were so hot to make Androkkid, and felt iFonz had hit the end of the life cycle of development. I also know that you were trying to introduce these features into iFonz2 -- and 2 or 3 versions ago there was the wide canvas and custom homepage.

I think it is executed so much better here in Androkkid -- and this gives you (and us, the users) a robust platform that can grow for the next year or two.

One thing I want to ask... but I think you may have already provided this info: Do you have a list of links to enable individual SETTINGS files from WM to be mapped to individual icons? That's been the thing I want most from an app launcher... and the one I want more than any other is:

REMOVE PROGRAMS

Sometimes you have listed "parameters" for iFonz, but I represent the average consumer, not a coder, and everytime you have listed all this stuff it is too hard for me to understand.

So, could you possibly do 2 things?

I still use the WM Operating system, and have many occasions to access WM settings... but I want to have any individual setting control, like "Date & Time" or "Buttons" or "Device Info" or "Memory" or "Remove Programs" -- with the ability to map to an icon on my Androkkid interface.

When I want to UNINSTALL an app, let's say PocketPlayer or TotalCommander or any other app that I have installed on my device, I have to got to START > SETTINGS > SYSTEM > REMOVE PROGRAMS.

many of the settings are dealt with by separate applications in your windows folder.

example: i wanted an easy to acces battery meter.
i looked for the power management app i the windows folder, and copied a shortcut to it into the programs subfolder under the startmenu folder.
i then reloaded the app list in androkkid and now it has a shortcut to the power management settings which i can also place on the desktop.

The shortcut.txt is a text file where is all type of shortcut that you set in icons manually.

Right -- I get this. But correct me if I am wrong, I did not think there is an accessable .exe file for every single settings-app in the Windows directory. For exmaple, where is such a file for "Remove Programs" ?

With new version a developer can create a Widget to link WM Settings programs without modify Androkkid source code.
Use your imagination to see beyond the limit of simple link icon.
Anyone can do a widget with Visual Studio 2008, with my required functions, and add it in Androkkid widget folder.

For now i created these widgets:
- Hero Clock
- Analog Clock
- Digital Clock
- Next Appointment viewer

This is a great program and is unlike most wm program very responsive!
Graphics could me a bit better on certain points like the icons and the widgets especially of the analog clock.

suggestion time!

1: i think it would be nice if the little "current page" dots where optional
2: settings for widgets! i'd love the hero clock if only i could turn off the date(date is in japanese for me because i installed support for japanese characters)
3: appointment widget is nice, but could you make it open the calender/agenda app when tapped just like how the clocks open the time settings?
4: make it configurable how far you have to move the app tray to open/close it(or make it possible to "flick" it without having to touch the "handle" untill atleast halfway the screen)
5: have the option to map the X button to minimize androkkid, or have an option to make it show the task switcher(if possible)
6: would be nice if we could change the text in the taskbar, i'd love to have androkkid as permanent today-replacement but i'm not too fond of my start menu being called "androkkid"
7: someone please make a mini battery-meter, only widget i'm really missing.

7 should do for now.
i hope you consider adding some, or all of these suggestions.

It's normal that this software needs 21.7 mb ram?
On Omnia i900, after an initial problem on startup resolved with the delete of PagineGialle icon, I couldn't see a very good improvement respect the previous version, because any operation have a problem: for example I can't add any type of link and widjet on desktop because the program crash, and icons looks ugly! Seems to be low resolution.
This is a very good software, and I appreciate the work of the developer!:)

Copy file to your device.

Add a Shortcut, find the path where you saved it...

- if you click on top of clock you open the Analog Clock Settings for change all graphics options;
- if you click on bottom of clock you open the WM clock settings.

What an amazing app and my new front end to my aging HTC Touch Dual.

I am hoping for only 1 addition.... My favorite agenda viewer, TodayAgenda, is created for the Today screen.

Is there any way either via Androkkid or widget a Today item can be inserted inside an Androkkid page?

well done on new calendar .dll ! Simo or ajige Do you think is difficult to modify again this .dll to show also the number of appointments (today and Tomorrow) as done from the standard androkkid link (calendar selected in options). Now appair in top right corner a blue circle with inside the number of appointments. If this number will appair also in the appointment widget, i can remove the calendar icon completely.

Looks like there is a bug in the Nextappointment widget.
The date in the header of a recurring appointment is not the date of the next appointment, but the date of the first occurence....

It is becoming a great app. I am glad with my pretty TF3D of the Diamond, but this could be great for those machines that do not have a good graphical interface.

Anyway, I hadn´t seen your prior developments, ifonz and ifonz2, what are the differences, advantages and disadvantages of each one?, seems to be very similar all of them, aren´t they?.

Great job, your apps are great. And I like the zip versions, I prefer to just copye them and not installing things in the system, registry and so on....

EDIT: I have just tried ifonz2 and I love the way it has to add the icons, you can select a lot at the same time. In Androkkid it requires more work to add all the icons you want. And the home screen of the ifonz2 seems pretty, I think it is prettier than the one in androkkid.

Did what you say, and it works fine. (Have to clear the cache after changing the settings though).

Memory Usage is approx. 16mb on my omnia; would be better if it eats less memory. Great job nonetheless :)

I dont know why for you your device eat 16MB, in my htc diamond with Kimera ROM it use 6Mb with all widgets and a lot of icons in 5 pages.

Seems like i spoke too soon. After clear cache and apply ur recommended setting, it works as it should. When i exit and try to launch androkkid again, error msg comes up. I soft reset and try to launch, again same error.

On a fresh install, with default settings, the error in the 2nd screenshot (and onwards）appears.

Ensuite entre les paramètre comme sur la capture d'écran pour accéder aux SMS directement.

I had installed the previous version of Androkkid (v 0.4.0) on my HX4700 with WM6.1 (not smartphone edition) and it works great! But now, I have installed the lastest version and I can't launch any application :( Everytime I try to launch any program, touching the shortcut on the wallpaper, it shows this error message:

Missing file "Microsoft.WindowsMobile.Telephony, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PubliKeyToken=31BF3856AD364E35" or one related to"

All the others features and widgets work fine :)

Is there any solution?

Anyway I went to pudn.com (http://en.pudn.com/) and found a source package that someone uploaded there. It seems like it was for WinMo 2003 (?) but you may find it useful if you'd like to implement any sort of topbar skinning into Androkid or iFonz.

In Analog Clock widget there are 2 click event:
- if you click on top of clock you open the Analog Clock Settings for change all graphics options;
- if you click on bottom of clock you open the WM clock settings.

For Samsung Omnia, have changed the way icons are displayed to use the old method as per your instructions. Don't get errors any more, but around half of the shortcuts don't have icons for them.
I presume you know what is causing this and will fix the problem for the next release?

Sulla versione 0.4.0 questo non succede. Ho installato lo zip e non il cab. Sai cosa può essere? E' possibile disabilitare i pallini in basso in modo che dia priorità di selezione all'icona?

This does make sliding easier (don't accidentally depress the left/right icon when you were wanting to slide to previous/next page) but I do have difficulties starting apps now.

Yes, it is a little slugish to go from first page to last but but in the other direction not.

I've found that it's very difficult to move an icon which is for example on page 3 to page 2 if there are 3 pages.

I was had the same issue as below, but I got past it by:

Uninstall Androkkid and .Net CF 3.5
Re-install .Net CF 3.5 and Androkkid
Reboot the phone and then run Androkkid


I also downloaded a fresh copy of .Net CF 3.5 just in case there was a problem with my existing copy.

Yes, this is the only complain I have....It would be perfect if the icon transparency can be changed to something else (maybe magenta like most apps?).

and androkkid kicked manila off yesterday when i installed 0.6.0
i only need 1 memory-hogging today replacement, and androkkid is now complete enough to replace manila.
Sounds good thanks. And I know that is the truth! This is so much more customizable than Manila! And with bluemetalaxe's icon set it's just a beautiful display. The ONLY problem I have been having with this is that sometimes it takes 2-4 button presses before the icon press responds. I'm not sure what could be causing this.

Now I only wait for some new widgets and I'm set. Weather widget would be great. :D

Good code, but create the outlooksession in load method using a global variable and dispose it at the end, everytime you use a slow function in a cicle it is very bad in program, optimize all if you can.

I dont test it, but you are on the good road to create a useful widget.

This widget should be very interesting if in the box is possible to access to the task tapping directly on it. At the moment if i tap on it appair only the task list and not the specific task.

I'm developing a set of icons with transparencies to use with Androkkid. I plan to make a set each for dimensions; 128x128, 96x96, 62x62 and 48x48. A couple of days now and I will post them. I'll also make some finished links with icons to system calls like "Remove Programs"
PS. I've started to use "Gimp (http://gimp.org)" and it takes some time to learn to use such an advanced grahic tool. But it is a great tool and it is free

Your icons are corrupted because the first pixel color (1,1) is used in the image and i use it to create transparency.

In addition, Androkkid now crashes at startup with a low memory exception even though I have 22Meg of storage available.

Please let me know if these problems are going to be resolved.

The OutofMemoryException error happens to me if I increase icon text size. If I set it back to default (8) it starts normally

I have an problem with the startmenu.

If androkid is running and i click on the startbutton on the top left corner or if i press the windows hardware button, the startmenu appears for ca. 1 second and then disappears.

I am using an HTC Touch Diamond 2 with an Windows Mobile 6.5 rom. If androkkid is minimized or closed the startmenu works fine.

Take all of the spaces out of the telephone number in the settings for each contact icon - That should cure the dialling problem - it has for me.

In each icon setting you can select what type of icon it is from the drop down menu. If you select the correct one you will get a message balloon on the icon for unread emails, sms messages, outstanding tasks and the like.

Click and hold the icon until it changes and drag it down to the tick mark at the bottom of the screen to enter the settings page for each one. When you are finished the icon will return to where it started.

This appointmsnt is an repeating appointment if it have an effect. It start on 15th september and end on 6th october. I think here is the problem.

this project is looking very promising. I initially saw you ifonz application but didnt jump on it as you had already stopped developing.

I love the simplicity of winterface but miss the big clocks weather and sms email notifications of m2d & spb ms3.5.

If you can nail the widgets you are on to a winner especially as the solution to displaying unread mail and sms / missed calls is a bit convoluted

For reference on my stock 6.1 rom kaiser the icons do appear blocky as has been reported by others.

one small request would be to remove the pattern behind the slide up panel or have an option in the settings to change the background

a more significant suggestion is that if you want this to be universally accepted you need to have the settings.ini able to be manipulated via the interface itself without the user having to frig icons to perform functions.

Take all of the spaces out of the telephone number in the settings for each contact icon - That should cure the dialling problem - it has for me.

In each icon setting you can select what type of icon it is from the drop down menu. If you select the correct one you will get a message balloon on the icon for unread emails, sms messages, outstanding tasks and the like.

Click and hold the icon until it changes and drag it down to the tick mark at the bottom of the screen to enter the settings page for each one. When you are finished the icon will return to where it started.

Don't use White color to ransparent, use 255,0,255 Fucsia color in pixel 1,1.
I get it and don't use the color in icon.
In general don' tuse the color of pixel 1,1 in the icon image and all go ok.

That's good. I have set up my key contact icons with pictures and deleted the numbers in the settings page so readability isn't an issue for me. The original contact data remains unaffected on my system. It is quite easy to access contacts through the dialler anyway so a few one touch icons are all I need.

Today I replace my SPB MS3.5 with Androkkid, after experimenting with 0.4.0 and 0.6.0. I believe it has a lot of potential, once more widgets become available. The main thing I'm missing is my HTC task manager (Touch Diamond, WM6.1) at the top right, since Androkkid doesn't run in the Today screen. Is there a possibility to run it in the Today screen (next version?), or have another task manager to replace the standard HTC one?
Maybe a contacts alternative: iContact allows you to create a shortcut to any contact. This shortcut can be added to Androkkid and when clicked, the iContact details are shown, giving you direct access to home, mobile, work telephone and sms functionality.
I can't wait to see the next version!

Enclosed is a battery widget. It's rather simple, but it shows the % in text and color, and whether it's charging. Clicking on it takes you to the power settings. Maybe later, I'll make a settings file so the colors can be customized.

However, as can be seen from the picture, the font doesn't show well in QVGA. It would be great if the font wouldn't be stretched when the image size changes.

OK. I think I was unclear. You need the numbers in the settings.ini file, but they need to be only numbers -- just edit out any parentheses, dashes & spaces. Your original contact numbers don't have to change in your contact manager.

simo, see italian version BELOW. -- I have a few questions. I am just starting to use Androkkid, and I have older hardware phone (T-mobile wing), but it still moves very well.

Questions:

1. Is there any kind of option you have to "snap to grid" ? I am having problems positioning my icons to be aligned. When I release my finger from the position of the icon's dotted-box, the placement where the icon then appears is off from where the dotted box was.

2. Is there a way you could create some find of function that is like a PC or mac where you can have it "auto align" all desktop icons?

Alternately: Are you familiar at all with Mac OS X operating system? If so, then you know of the utility/function called "Expose".... It takes whatever is on the screen and moves away any overlapping items, so that each item can be accessible to click or move. In OS X, this is used for application and file-directory windows. But I am thinking of how this concept could be used for me right now as I set up my desktop, or canvas, or wallpaper, whatever it is called.

This is another exmaple of the very same issue I have been commenting about since iFonz 2 appeared: The idea of having a desktop layout pre-configured from all apps on the device.

I find that it is much easier to REMOVE an icon, or move it, than it is to drag all the icons onto the desktop, only to then have to position them, and move them all aroiund.

For iFonz 2, you had about 3 different methods that you experimented with... but you abandoned the really great system that you had solved, where the screen is populated with all the application icons, and they are all in an EDIT state, so they can be dragged around.

I believe, when I look back on the first versions of iFonz 2, that you were looking to move ahead with more of the UI of Androkkid.

Everything I am saying has only to do with ONE THING: setting up my ideal layout of icons. That's the same thing I have been commenting on for 3 revs of iFonz2, and now with Androkkid.

Once the desktop layout is the way I like it, I never need to comment on this again, and I never have to spend time in Configuration-mode... because then I am just using the application.

I want to ask: Do you understand what I am talking about? Or should I put this into google translation into italian? (I think I will do that now). Your application is so good --- I just wish you would make the initial configuration process much much simpler: by PRE-POPULATING the desktop with icons from all apps that your app scans as being present on the device.

Then, I really still like the way iFonz1 worked with moving individual icons... a very simple, easy to use cut&paste... where I cut an icon on page 1, and maybe jump to page 3 to paste it there.

It really all boils down to a lot of icons spread across several pages, that's the main UI, with maybe a more customized home page with widgets. So, I notice so much programming effort, from ifonz1 to ifonz2 to androkkid, has gone into about 5 different methods of popultating the page with icons,,, then editing and moving. But each time you went back to the drawing board, (back to the start) and started over from scratch to develop ANOTHER method... and I don't understand why you have never tried to implement any of the suggestions people have made since iFonz2. ....

I would like to spen my time using the app, to make my life easier, and higher productivity, and way less time to set up icons. That should all be so much more automated.... and if someone doesn't like the automated desktop layout of all icons, it is so easy for them to move what they don't like, or delete them. This is not a complaint. It is more of a request, and also I just don't understand your philosophy of user-setup. :)

Una volta che il layout del desktop è il modo che mi piace, non ho bisogno di commento su questo nuovo, e non ho mai a trascorrere del tempo in configurazione-mode ... perché allora io sono solo utilizzando l'applicazione.

I have Androkkid installed on a Treo Pro & I'm on AT&T Wireless. My one issue, at the moment, is with voicemail.

If I create a shortcut to voicemail.exe, then make it a voicemail shortcut, it'll show a count for new emails & bring up a player instead of dialing my voicemail access number.

If I create a contact for my voicemail access number, it doesn't show new voicemails. Changing it to a voicemail shortcut shows new voicemail count, but thinks the voicemail access number is supposed to be an app that doesn't exist.

If I create a vm.lnk that contains only my voicemail access number, then create a shortcut to that, it does nothing. If I change the shortcut to a voicemail shortcut, I get the new voicemail count, but it still doesn't dial my voicemail access number.

Any ideas how I can get this working so I get a new voicemail count & tapping the icon will dial my voicemail access number?

When make widget you use the reference resolution of 480x640 (VGA) and Androkkid resize automatically the graphics for other resolutions.

Test it in Emulator if you can.

For Line Operator widget is a very simple widget to do, like the Battery Widget.

First, Androkkid just keeps getting better And two great versions in such a short time. Awesome!

1) Do the "+" & "-" on the pull up tab do anything?

2) How does the counter box on the Next Appointment calculate its number? Is it today & tomorrow, a certain number of hours? What types of events?

3) Just so others know what to expect, the top edge of the bottom bar of the Hero theme is a little pixelated on my Treo Pro at 96dpi, probably also true for full QVGA.

4) I've asked previously, but seen no response. Is there a way to create a voicemail shortcut that will display the new voicemail count and tapping it will dial my voicemail access phone number?

- the Soundconfig: being able to turn Volume to silent mode or config it without using the hardware buttons)

it would be better than Spb Mobile Shell 3.5 which i purchased latley ...

Same here, that's why I really would wish that the font would not have to be scaled according to size of widgets or screen. Since the font gets unreadable when you change the size of the widgets when editing them, there is really no point to have that option.

It's easy to get to the Connection Manager, just create a shortcut that links to \Windows\CommManager.exe
As for Soundconfig, I think there are several programs on xda that let's you change the sound with soft buttons.

First off, Simo, this is a fantastic UI. I've decided to use this as my main launcher over Titanium or Manila.

Second, for all the folks having trouble with voicemail, the way I got it working was to use the command line dial feature of iDialer, my dialer of choice. (FYI - iDialer is awesome; I use it because of its Google Voice integration). I made the following shortcut, where xxxyyyzzzz is my 10 digit cell number.

36#"\Program Files\iDialer\iDialer.exe" xxxyyyzzzz -name=Voicemail

And of course, I set the Type of the shortcut to be Voicemail. It shows up my voicemail count correctly, and it dials my voicemail number correctly on pressing.

Thank you. That works. I installed iDialer on my storage card & the config cab. On my Treo Pro, iDialer never actually shows up -- it brings up my normal dialer. But the shortcut gets my voicemail notifications & allows dialing voicemail.

Thanks for a great program, loving it but having 3 issues.

1. Memory usage, I have a standard omina rom and the usage is around 20megs, I use SKTools to free ram and that gets androikkid down to 3-4megs but eventually it goes back up to 20megs, is this a memory leak?

2. Hardware buttons, 0.8.0 version locks out some of the hardware buttons, I can still use call, end call, nav and volume buttons nut camera and main menu buttons are unusable while androkkid is running in the foreground, I can use the button's I have another app running in the foreground and androkkid in the back ground.

3. When androkkid crashes, the windows task bar become unusable, and only the task bar. This is when androkkid is in full screen mode. The phone just bleeps at me and will not respond. It will respond if you re run androkkid. Minor

The one and only reason that stopped me from using it in place of titanium was because of the graphics problem. I think the graphics are "downsized" too much, resulting in the icons and most part of the interface to look kind of pixelated.

this is why he conveniently made the icon sizes configurable.
best iconsize(atleast for VGA) appears to be 64x64, since this is the icon size windows mobile uses in the programs, settings, and games screens.


anyway, more suggestions: perhaps let the user choose the actions for the 2 new softbuttons through the settings?
possible actions could be: launch specified app, minimize androkkid, close androkkid, open androkkid settings, add item(right softey's current action), menu(left softkey's current action).

also, you included a "settings screen" app so you can put a link to the settings screen on your androkkid desktop.
would it be possible to make it obey the registry settings?
my rom(T-mobile official) has by default a registry setting modified so i get 4 icons next to eachother instead of 3
it also uses a ridiculously large font, way larger than the fontsize i have configured.

third and last one for now, would it be possible to make an icon/widget that opens the start menu? (the real start menu, not some look-a-like start menu clone, or the folder in \windows\start menu)

2. Hardware buttons, 0.8.0 version locks out some of the hardware buttons, I can still use call, end call, nav and volume buttons nut camera and main menu buttons are unusable while androkkid is running in the foreground, I can use the button's I have another app running in the foreground and androkkid in the back ground.

On the Treo Pro, if Androkkid has the taskbar showing, all the buttons work, as does the start menu. With Androkkid fullscreen, camera & the other side buttons work. I have the messaging button remapped to toggle audio between speaker & BT headset -- that & the qwerty keyboard are the only front buttons that work with Androkkid fullscreen. The start menu, calendar & OK buttons don't work with Androkkid fullscreen. No access to start menu & phone settings with Androkkid fullscreen. If you use the battery widget, you can use that to get out of Androkkid to start & settings, but it'd be nice if there were a widget or shortcut that could do that. And a widget to show open connections (wifi, data, bluetooth).

That & one other. I have several recurring appointments that occur on the same days of the week. It appears that the Next Appointment widget displays the date of the first occurance, not the most recent occurance, with recurring events.

this is why he conveniently made the icon sizes configurable.
best iconsize(atleast for VGA) appears to be 64x64, since this is the icon size windows mobile uses in the programs, settings, and games screens.

In addition, the degradation in the quality of the graphics isnt only the icons; it includes the bottom tabs as well. They'll look kind of pixelated/jagged. I'm quite sure i'm not the first qvga user to comment on this though.

Anyways, these are just some feedbacks that i hope can help. Great job by ssj5trunks.

All graphics is created for VGA device and resized in source code for other resolutions.
If anyone create a theme for qvga i think it resolve a lot of problems.

How are you drawing the images on your Backbuffer (if you use one)? With the imaging API ? If yes, you can probaly have a little nicer result when resizing by using InterpolationHint.InterpolationHintBicubic as the InterpolationHint...

I not use imaging API, it is too slow with .NET, i use a back buffer with graphics object.

Hi. The minimize.exe application in the util folder doesn't seem to function. Androkkid briefly switches to the Today screen, but immediately switches back. The minimize menu functions however. Is it possible to fix the exe, allowing a shortcut to the Today screen?

Yeah i know, but I use this in a my own implementation of "android", also in NET (but C#). I simply use it when loading image so I resize them easily, then I only old the resulting image as source (IBitmapData) with the Lockbits to acces the pointer , and use this to create the backbuffer.
With a trick I found, I'm able to use this and have an Alpha blending on PNG's in real time... It work really fast on a Diamond, even with a full image of Alpha Blended images.

Watch the result there. This is only a Proof of Concept, this is only I writed fast this week for some testing with a larger project... :

Don't forget to work only in rgb565, image processing is a lot faster (I'm sure you already knew it, but wanted to tell it anyway ...)
Here you go, this one will allow you to extract the alpha channel from a png (loaded in the image), and put it in an array (later, acces this array with a pointer). This is in C# and to easily write the COM calls, I use OpenNetCF (wich I'm sure you also use) ;-)

Finally this one will create a Bitmap from the image, resizing it with 'width' and 'height'. Interpolation set to Bicubic ;-) In the video, the Grass is resized, also, TUX is resized ;-)

Applying the resulting Alpha should be easy for you... Otherwise, make a search on "Fast AlphaBlending" ;-) I cannot give you the exact code I used here cause this is used in another application I write for my company. But bare in mind that it only use direct to memory access for every graphics ;-)

Ah yes, one more info : If you do it the right way (without division/multiplication), you'll get a problem with alpha at 0xFF, cause this one will be slighty transparent in place of not at all... simple check for it and don't use the alpha computation... ;-)

Once again, an excellent app Simo.
I have a problem which I also had with Ifonz and that is the correct use of the 'Missed Calls' executable in the Utils folder. This always goes to 'All Calls' for me, no matter what I put in the 'Parameters' field. This may be unique to the o2 XDA Stellar, but I suspect it may be more widespread. However, there is a solution. On 'Mahmood's Website' (http://mahmood1.com/htc_touch_cruise_or_polaris.aspx), entry 19 has a link to a CAB file on the XDA Forum which installs an executable and shortcut links to All Calls, Missed Calls, Incoming Calls and Outgoing Calls.

For Simo - the English text on the Battery Widget shows 'In charging' when the battery is being charged. Can you change that to just 'Charging' in the next release.

Twice I've lost my weather icon.... The first time I thought perhaps I copied an old settings.ini. It just happened again and I definitely didn't do anything.

I just downloaded my Settings.ini and noticed the following entry twice

i am using windows mobile 6.5 with netframework 3.5 on an htc touch diamond 2 smartphone.

i would prefer that the click on an contant will open the windows mobile contact window where i can also choose to call or send an sms to this contact.
it would be also easier for us, because the dont need to set up the number to this contact icon.

Hi, my no phone ipaq 216 pda can execute the app but when i clic any icon to launch any app it fails complaining about a phone ...something... error.

The error seems to do with some phone library that of course not phone devices lacks. I don t remember the error message exactly sorry if i am not precisely enought. I ll try later.

Hello i am using an LG incite. I too have the issue when I click on a contact, and it gives me my options I select and nothing happens... Even just to be able to call from the icon would be great.

I also think that the Picture frame widget might be drainging my battery super quick. anyone else with this problem???

Simo responded when I reported the issue on my Treo Pro. Go into settings & uncheck "Show menu for contact". That disables the option menu & lets you click to call the selected contact. Which is the way I like it, anyway. :)

I liked ur application a lot! grt work!

but at the same time i want u to decrease the memory which it uses when switched on...it was consuming 7.5mb! which is sad. moreover, when i went on to create a shortcut for callhistory, for which i tried to access windows folder, it froze and I had to restart my ppc.

I have been using Iphonetoday for quite a while, and i really like the weightless working of it and smoothness.

I think in coming days even androkid will achieve this.
