Back Button Problem After Getting Wet

I, being the idiot that I am, jumped into a pool with my Dash in my pocket. I used the rice trick to dry it out and let it sit over night. It turns on and looks fine, but when I go into any application (i.e. Internet Explorer, Settings, Email, etc.) the application closes as if the back arrow were being pressed. Once i did get it all the way to a text message and while typing the message the same problem would occur, the text would get deleted and then the app closed. I am running the WM6.1 Kavana ROM. I was just wondering if there is anyway to disable the functionality of the back arrow. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ouch, thats gotta hurt.

I did a similar thing a long time ago, dropped my erricson down the toilet whilst trying to multi task (that'll teach me huh).....

Best thing you can do is turn it off, take out battery etc leave it upside down to FULLY dry out for a few days, chances are it will be fine, but id say over night is not long enough.... and dont put it on a radiator or somewhere heated, it will cause condensation and then it will be proper Fuc#ed!:(
