Is there a way to disable the new lockscreen?

No, it replaces the stock lockscreen in the Android framework.

You can however replace the current framework with the old framework.
you'll need the following files from an older build:

android.policy.jar
framework.jar
framework-res.apk
services.jar

and place them in /system/framework

1. your res is 320x428, the g1's are 320x480 so any app's ie the lockscreen, that aren't made dynamic will look like that
2. you mean sounds and display? Do you have the media folder on the sdcard? Mine seems okay, give me some more detailed info and I'll see if I can help you.
3, gps. I don't ever use gps but I tried maps this morning, didn't find my location, downloaded gps status from the market, which worked. Tried maps again after and it worked good. Might be because the latest googlemaps isn't installed, maybe install the latest of the market and let me know.

As a followup to this, Zen's latest hero build is also not getting GPS locks. This worked fine in previous builds I've tried. GPS status also tried here, and it worked fine too. The GPS also did not work for finding my location in weather app, so I'm not sure why, since status appears to work.

So just tried mssmison's build (Android newb) on my Sprint HTC Touch/Vogue. Paired successfully with my Plantronics 510, but audio comes in through the vogue's speaker.

For pairing, had to toggle bluetooth off, then back on, but so far no luck getting audio through the bluetooth headset.

First, I can't because I am on a Mac.

Second, I bought a 4GB SDHC card (Class 4) and it is working fine so I guess I will just use the 8GB somewhere else.

sell it on ebay and buy a new one :P
i have an sandisk 8gb sdhc ultra class 6 and works like a charm

is there any way to include the languanges of mssmission releases in the latest google ion release ?

in mssmission you can select your sistem lang (portguese in my case) and the google ion i can only choose english :\

I use a Mac was well (have a G5 iMac at home and work in a Mac dealer ^^) and i have had no issues reformatting my card. Have you tried using Disk Utility and making sure that you've selected the right type of format? (check under the Partition tab, make sure that Master Boot Record is checked under the options and then just format as MS-DOS) Been working fine for me with 4 and 8 GB cards.

Yes, it "works" partially. However, it only works with google maps and will not work with any other navigation applications.

I was saying that I was on a Mac to the suggestion that I use a Windows application to format the card. The card worked fine before and I've formatted plenty of cards before and since but it just keeps giving me that error. I used the same settings to format the 8GB that I did to format the 4GB that I am currently using with no problem.
