Hi!
anybody knows app like "night stand" which works on iPhone?
i dont like "pTravelAlarm" and "NyxClock".
i would like these functions:
-landscape
-fullscreen
-black background
-display always on
-disable WM 6.5 lock (or other)
I could try to develop it, if you can tell me how to import clock in program.
screenshot of the app is attached.
thanks for help!

just disable standby when cradledi the power setings. get a black bakground. you can use any "standard" home screen ro HTC home or manila ove titanium.
You can also change the clock fonts or graphics for any of those programs.
the lock screen would probably be your best bet as the .cpr would be the easyest to change with the font size and type.
I think it's a decent idea. I might tackle that once I get some other projects done. epecally since my screen dims after a while.

I don't want different home screen but app which i'll use only when i'll need it and it should be simple to view at night.
I have basics of programing in c++ and c# so i want to build my own app...i just have to find out how to import clock in visual studio and then it shouldn't be big problem.

I think pTravelAlarm is what you are looking for. I have been using it for a couple of years without any complaints. It won't keep the device screen up, it follows the device settings, so, if you want to keep the screen on all through the night, modify the device settings.

i tryed it out yesterday.
i don't like it because:
-there is no fullscreen option
-it is not free
-too small clock
i want something just like "night stand" for iPhone. it looks perfect

Seems very simple to do in flash, RLtoday or even SU2U... but the hole idea seems a huge battery drain and a bit of a energy waste... :(

just for your info: charging a battery when device is on is not good for the battery itself.
reason: when the battery is full, i will start draining. Immediately, the charging jumps in.
You will have unreasonable amount of chargings, which is limited for every battery.

That is right, but last night i didn't charge the phone and it used only 20% of battery (backlight-power save).

boo... tried the app, and it's bollocks.
Alarms only work if phone display is on. Can't allow phone to enter sleep mode.
However, GAlarm is the tits!

Since we can't share WAREZ that make people do illegal sharing activities on this forum i only want to say stop pm ME for full version files...
I Suggest that everyone can flash a phone, also can search his own method for Cr@ck or something.
I Give hint, search for an cr _ ack site on google or try to use wisely key terms on google.
Enough said. http://cache.hyves-static.net/images/smilies/default/smiley_woot.gif

I agree about graphical design but it's not a big deal for me. and i don't like Galarm because the clock font is to small to see when you wake up in the middle of the night.

I agree about Galarm. If GAlarm has larger clock font, I would stick with it but its just too small to see in middle of night and especially for a half-assed blind man like me.... (no glasses or contacts, makes Galarm really hard to see in middle of the night).
