ooo sounds like a good idea unfortunately i have no idea how to dump roms, ive tried using the tools in the kitchen ive got but it never seems to work. but it looks extremely like 6.5 should have a final version soon if the phone operators are getting it. i think that microsoft are probably at the same stage with WM 6.5 as they are with windows 7

downloaded the file the nbh is 222mb lmao

ive dumped the rom into sys ext and oem folders although alot of stuff is going to have to be removed to get a working as the ext has over 200mb of stuff alot of which is probably special for the topaz, ill have a look through and see if i can get a 21828 sys build from it.

took the sys, switched over the dpi and resv files with ones from 23009, and changed shell32.exe and shellres.dll files with ones from 21222 build. also stripped out everything except necessary things. uploading now should take around 15mins.

Heres a link for the sys: http://www.4shared.com/file/121250776/189b396/21828_Sys_ported_from_topaz_att.html
Feel free to try it, as i havent tried using it yet, Enjoy :D
There is one problem with this sys, its 91mb so nearly double the size of normal sys i dont know whether this will make a difference, ive just built a rom with it and 21806 xip ill flash it and see how it goes.

Successfully flashed rom although the netcf needs changing to 3.5 and then i think it should work fine.

HUGHE, its hughe cause topaz has more memory... so we need to stripp it as much as we can.

So how many of memory do you have?

well it doesnt seem too bad, its flashed quite well although having problem with the start menu, ive still got 62mb of overall free memory. im just trying to port the xip for this aswell just need to build and flash it and then we'll have a fully working 21828 build :D

if it all works ill 7zip them and upload them for people to use

IT WORKS WOO!! 7ziping and uploading immediately :):)

I need to do that! hahaha
But if you have all the sys... and the xip ported is fine
cause we only need the MSXIPKERNEL folder plus the SYS folders common...
dod you add the shell and shellres into the upload?

ye you should be able to sort that out, ive seen the kitchen for it so that shouldnt take long to do. and yes ive changed the shell and dpi stuff so that it will boot and they're in the upload
