Windows Mobile 6.5 21828 Sys & Xip from Topaz!!

Heres a build for all you cookers out there from the topaz ported by me :D
The sys is from a AT&T rom so should be quite stable.

Have edited files so that it will boot, i have flashed using these and have got it to boot.

no .rom and VM folders... no sqm dummy... no lockscreen folders... no chome folders and no bronzeres... it has titanium? start menu honeycomb and lock slider screen?

I remmeber to saw this build as manilla... so maybe it dont has titanium... or is in common CPR????

The kitchen found some errors at the time of building it say 440!!!! modules!!!!
two fake modules it transforms the modules to files automaticaly... then stops working searching for the log file.

could you upload all the folders separatedly...I mean the ext and the oem?

i took all the chome and stuff out of it as i was trying it on my htc home rom so i have no need for these files ill get these folders to you, or i can get you the original sys folder as i removed quite alot of stuff from it.

the common cpr was something i added becuase it wouldnt open the start menu and this was the quickest fix i had for it, because of the topaz having diff dpi and screen size i dont know whether they would work but ill dump it all again and send u it all.

edit i have no idea whats going on with this fake module lmao but im not using the 6.5nk or that kitchen probably why it didnt affect me

I could try this with a manilla version but I definatly want the lockscreen though.

im going to add all the files i took out to my edited sys and then upload that to my 4shared and update the first post.

what ive done is moved the files i took out of the sys back into my edited sys folder but there is a problem with some as they are dpi 192 so will need changing. im 7zipping this sys folder then ill upload it for u que so u can fix it or w/e, im also 7zipping the ext and oem folders that i got out of the rom and ill upload these so you can have a look at them que i looked through the ext but theres some outdated things i believe. ill post the links in this post.

edit: once que has sorted out the one for the ervius kitchen, which i guess hell sort out the dpi probs and stuff, ill download it change it to one for josh's kitchen and put that on the first post along with que's one as well

Can you tell me with this new sys files when you go into settings and then change something does it put u right back into where u were in settings instead of the today screen?

thats something I really like in the newer versions that 21728 or lower does not have.

It must have something to do with whats in the shell/redist folders cause 23009 had it until i replaced the folders to fix the sms problem.

it would not compose a sms or load a email etc until the redist folder was replaced.

looking at the rom i built using 21828 sys and xip it seems pretty good, fast on 8mb pp and memory seems to stay at the same level unlike some other builds ive used.

woah thats wierd i soft reset my hermes cos it froze (using 21828 xip and sys) i soft reset it, it froze at welcomehead screen, so soft reset it again and it somehow turned into a hard reset i have no idea how

after this strange hard reset, it resets after the customiser bit but it hard reset again wtf i have no idea what is happening im gona have to try and sort this out but first im gonna build and flash a stable rom

well im in the process of making a ms3 rom and a wm7 titanium rom, the titanium one im testing with 21828 at the moment, so far the rom is behaving just need to sort out the titanium part

I have got all of these to work with the new and old kitchen :)

Only problem I'm running into is my memory usage is really high. I only have about 10mb free and thats without titanium cooked in. I dunno it might be on my end but I didnt have a lot of time last night.

I'm probably gonna try and move back to manilla2d. I really miss some of the features and its so much more handy than titanium.

What folders do you guys delete to get rid of titanium? I normally just delete the chome folders or whatever they are called. Any I'm missing?

well personally i delete the bronzers ones aswell, although i have no idea what they do lol, i dont know what to do about the memory problem i havent been doin too well with memory i need to find out what i can get rid of to get more free i think one of the problems is that the hermes is getting a little outdated with the programs using more and more memory.

edit:just flahed sys and xip 21828 with titanium and wm7 titanium im gettin 17mb free memory so not too bad
got a bit annoyed with the titanium not really to my liking so im tryin manilla 2d as i havent used it before, flashing now :D

On first boot with manilla2d running I have about 15.5mb. This is with 21728


Also I noticed if I use redist folders from 21921 then I get the settings thing where it takes you back so I may try and mix that with 21728.

Also running a newer version of MMS which has fixed a few minor things that bothered me before.

I really enjoy using manilla so I'll take the extra memory hit since its very useful.

The manilla package I have seems to work fine but it doesn't include everything cause I don't want to take up that much space on my phone for stuff I dont use. If you need anything though just let me know..

Are you using the wm7 titanium? The problem I had with that is the notifications panel the txt always overlapped. At least I think lol its been awhile since I used it but I do know instead of cooking it in it was easier for me to just load the cab on install..

That one looks nice also I just always hit the tabs in the wrong spot lol you always have to hit them right in the middle.
