Restoring xda ii back to WM2003

Hey all.

I currently use windows mobile 6.1 on the device and it works great, but I am giving it to a friend that wants to use the original software it came with (WM2003)

How can I go about restoring it, and also is it possible to keep it unlocked so any sim can be used in it like now?

flashing is flashing you go back to wm2003 by flashing a wm2003 rom on it just
like to did to go to wm6.1

and going back to an ealier rom will not sim lock the phone

Okay I found what I thought to be a wm2003 rom but it dosen't seem to want to work.

It flashes okay but when it turns on at the o2 logo it says NO GSM and of course I don't get a signal.

Is there anyway of getting hold of a wm2003 rom that does work?

some newer radiostacks only works with newer roms get an older radiostack
