View Full Version : May Day... my dopod c800 is dead!!

Sory.. this is my new post on this forum! And i'm a new comer on PDA.

Please help!! I've tried to upgrade my dopod c800 to WM6 through activesync.. but (i did'nt know the term "brick" before) my dopod is sudenly dead after error on my PC.

I could go into hard reset, but no to bootloader (CAMERA+stylus). When i push other button after hard reset.. it'll go into green screen with ipl and spl only. If i then push soft reset with stylus, it's turn off.

my ipl/spl is 1.xxxxxx

Please help!!

You probably broke your SPL/IPL. The warning says to not flash a third party ROM on your phone if your SPL is lower than 4.xx
If you can get back to the bootloader, you can use the goldcard method to revive your phone. I have not done the goldcard method myself, so I cannot answer any questions on it.
