Now you can install only your language pack for XBmod TF3D2.

Why ? Because :

(1) it saves more then 6 MB in your device memory and almost 1 minute in speed access to Windows folder.
(2) each pack installs only 38 files in Windows folder, against 983 files for the complete pack (i.e., there are 945 files that you don't need)
(3) more "IDS_..." bugs solved, and I will support resolution for another bugs identify by you (see below how to)
(4) ".cab" install to back for WWE ROM language

HOW TO INSTALL :
(1) download your native language pack
(2) disable Manila TF3D2 : StartMenu -> Settings -> Personal -> Today -> Items Tab -> UNCHECK "TouchFLO 3D" -> Ok
(3) install language ".cab" you downloaded in (1)
(4) at the end of the installation, Soft-Reset
(5) after Soft-Reset, enable Manila TF3D2 : StartMenu -> Settings -> Personal -> Today -> Items Tab -> CHECK "TouchFLO 3D" -> Ok

HOW TO BACK TO WWE language : (WARNING : it assumes you have WWE TF3D2 in your device)
(1) disable Manila TF3D2 : StartMenu -> Settings -> Personal -> Today -> Items Tab -> UNCHECK "TouchFLO 3D" -> Ok
(2) Soft-Reset
(3) Uninstall language pack you had install above : StartMenu -> Settings -> System -> Remove Programs -> highlight program "TF3D2..._xmatrix" -> click "Remove" -> Ok
(4) enable Manila TF3D2 : StartMenu -> Settings -> Personal -> Today -> Items Tab -> CHECK "TouchFLO 3D" -> Ok
(4.a) If your TF3D2 don´t show in WWE, download and install "TF3D2.BackWWE_UninstallLang_xmatrix.cab" : confirm OK to all warnings you get (if have install this cab more then once)
(4.b) soft-reset

"IDS_..." BUGS / WRONG TRANSLATIONS:
I know that in a few language packs there are some bugs that show to you "IDS_...." word insted the correct translation.
I'm available to correct these bugs or another wrong translation with your help. How ? Please send me a private message (not a post) with this form info :
(1) Language : xxxxxx (f.i.: Language : German.Standard)
(2) IDS_bug : xxxxxxx (f.i.: IDS_bug : IDS_ALLPEOPLE)
(3) Manila Tab : xxxxxxx (f.i.: Manila Tab : Settings / Sound)
(4) Correct Word(s) : >xxxxxxx< (IMPORTANT : insert correct words between > <)

UPDATES :
I will update language packs as they are beeing solved for "IDS_" bugs.
Before report me any bug, please check your installed ".cab" date with the info "Last Update" for each pack (your installed ".cab" date can be checked in file name).
I will not reply messages for bugs that was alreday solved.
You can update your pack installation by download last uptade cab and overwrite the first installation.

But you can try in TF3D2.5 : Remember :
1. Disable TF3D2
2. Soft-Reset
3. Install Lang Pack
4. Soft-Reset
5. Enable TF3D
6. Test it

In case of not working, back to your original lang :
1. Disable TF3D2
2. Soft-Reset
3. Uninstall Lang Pack
4. Soft-Reset
5. Enable TF3D

After, post here your feed-back.

Bug reports in the swedish version:

• Calendar tab doesn't work properly, message "IDS_CALENDAR..", where it should say day, week etc.

• When no location is added in the weather tab I got message:
"IDS_TAPTOADDCITY" instead of "Lägg till ort"


Edit: I use SE Xperia X1 with Smaberg's Touch X 10.1 Final Rom

when i use the danish lang.
it displays wrong in the calendar page

The Russian language package contains inadequate translation, see IDS_EMAIL_TITLE and others. How can I transfer to supplement the package with the Russian language?

I installed russian lang to TF3D 2.1 (deepShining rom) (on my own risk )))
There some bugs with IDS... but I don't know what of them from TFT3D 2.1 (As it is not supported)...
But I can Tel that in whole it is working )
And the most pleasant is that sms is sending properly (in WWE version was "????")

This is not by TF3D2 .

The "unknown ..." tags are classified by AudioManager, so it isn't possible translate them by TF3D2.

well, it's a good question.

I advise to who's had copy in the past the all files (> 950) to remove them and install only the desired pack ( 38 files).

The way to do this I only know one : manualy delete these files.

I appreciate all posts about these language packs for TF3D2, but I must remember that this thread is ONLY about TF3D2 (not for others aplications).

For requests about others translations, I answer yes, it's possible make translations for others WM parts/add-on's but, please, search others threads about them.

(try searching about MUI files... you'll find answers for major of yours requests)

I tested danish pack in your instaled ROM (ENERGY ROM - WARHAWK. version 3.0_ 11/08/2009) and there's no "Reply" bug... it appears correctly "Svar".

I find hard to believe that your storage card was deleted with a simple cab.
yes there is something bad going on with your device but is not related with xkaiser cab.

It's impossible that language pack installation done this !!!
language pack only copy to \Windows folder a set of _manila files that are use by TF3D (nothing more).

You done something very wrong when try install german pack ... REVIEW WHAT YOU DONE.

For +/- 1.500 download's/installations of TF3D language packs, no one reports such error.

I re-install / re-check German.Standard cab, and everything goes fines.

You probably got a bad flash ROM, witch destroyed FAT partition of InternalStorage.

2/ in Home Tab, weather comments still english, and date is english format(dim,aout30), right syntax is (dim, 30 aout)...

All the rest is good...

I want to ask about few phrases in manila which aren't translated for many many weeks...For example when I have installed my-made polish language pack or polish language pack from this thread I always saw that few phrases aren't translated, like:

- All People - from main screen
- Settings - a header from settings tab

Why it is still not possible to translate this few phrases? Till now I have installed several ROM's and this issue is present in all of them :( Is HTC the one we can blame for this? Or this is something much more complicated? I am asking because I really want to understand this issue :)

I really apreciate your feed-back... all of them are extremely important to improve the packs I made and get the better translations for each language (better then HTC stock manila translations).

But I have to say you : instead of protest why this... why that... you must read my post #1 and learn how to report me translations or IDS bug.

Really !!! do this and I'll update polish pack at your request.

Remember, my work and time spent in these add-ons for TF3D are unpaid (unlike HTC workers when you buy a device) so, take easy with your claims.

these days, I'm working in lang packs for manila 2.5 and 2.6, so stay tuned.

keypad isn't a manila feature, but also can be translate... search for "MUI" keyword and you'll get how lang codes act in WM (BTW, to translate keypad phone, the file is "phcanrc.dll.????.mui" => ???? is the mui code of your ROM : 0409 for WWE)

I am testing the German leo 2.5 vga port, so require the english version of this file. I know the guys will produce a wwe rom but its only in German, Can anyone post the english language so i can try converting it ?(and no using the unisnstall to wwe might not work.

Manila 2.5 is using HTC messaging. The Langage Pack does not compatible with it. You must disable the HTC messaging and change it back to the traditional Windows Mobile Messaging.

I had a cooked rom in Trad Chi, which I need the Trad Chi input. Yet I want a Eng TF3D. Can you please post a en_us language pack?

I tried to change the registry of the MUI to 0x404, but then the whole TF3D are full of IDS_xxx....

Turkish version is working on HTC Touch Pro.
Ony a small problem
on the internet window, right bottom button where it says bookmarks capital "i" looks like Y, So instead of Yer imleri, it says Yer Ymleri.
