it has 2g dialer, if u want video call u should install a dialer with video call.. somewhere in this forum

i'm sorry to tell that it was completely stuck. i tried twice, flashed stock rom, did HR, then flashed your rom again, and had the same results.

I flashed V2 successfully....so far:

1) still have to align screen (ie + mid buttons)
2) no smart dialing (have to install the can Orgenator added to the V1 thread)
3) Shortcuts seems to have worked (atleast I opened the Activesync)

Will update you more as I test. Wish you have put in a 3G dialer.

Hi OMG...as you mentioned, the initial boot sequence is very long. The first thing I did was to select the Utility folder. The lock screen came up but the slider did not work so I had to soft reset. It rebooted right back to the lock screen which meant I had to do a hard reset. Went through the same sequence again, experienced the same thing so I decided to flash another rom. Sorry, but I really did not get to test your rom...

sorry to say that if there is any small error that needs a soft reset, this will lead to total hanging & it will never restart....rom has to be flashed all over...I had this twice already...thanks to Sashimi, otherwise, I would have wasted hours.....

If anyone has problems with hanging at boot on this rom, flash stock rom first and reflash this one. I'm still in testing, but if it stays working ill report it ;).

my device is fu....ed cause of this ROM....it hanged....I did soft reset....then ofcourse it deleted everything & started as new & shown battery as 6% then it kept going down to 0% then went off....I pressed the power button & surprisingly it powered on & the battery showed 31% & now is the big surprise....IT DOES NOT DETECT ANY CABLE....NEITHER THE POWER CABLE NOR THE DATA CABLE......I removed the battery & put it on again but no change

I went on the settings page & Cleared Storage so it restarted clean but still no connection through min usb at all & accordingly I am not able to flash the stock ROM

As you should know, you should backup every time you flash a new rom! This is omg's first rom release and I'm not suprised of any errors, This rom is working fine for me using SPL 3.56 and Radio 1.71 eMoH. And if you want to flash another rom you can go into the bootloader holding the camera button and press the power button, even when battery is low. So please take some time to search XDA and then post something. Omg is not intended to make anyone F**ked with an broken phone;).

Did you try to charge the phone while its off? And I would like to know which spl and radio you use. Im sorry to say, but you have to know that your phone can be bricked if your modifing your phones flash chip. Did you ever flashed before? or is this first time flashing of your tytn 2? How old is the phone? Maybe we can find an solution, because I know how frustrated it is to have an crappy phone:(. 1 last question, did you try to connect it to an different pc (or an different os)?

I removed KAISDIAG but nothing happened. I renamed KAISIMG to its original name but nothing happened also. "No Image File" appears for 1/2 a second before the tri color screen appears. I am on SPL-1.0.OliPof.

I am trying to install the stock rom & see if the min usb connector will work. If it doesnt so I will change it at a service guy & the AllStar v2 will then not be responsible for the HW failure.

Hello,
I just installed your V.3 on my Tilt and it is mostly working well. I did find the following 2 bugs:
1) Cannot add phone#/Contact to outlook contacts.
a) open contacts, press bottom left screen button (on Windows 6.5 home)
b) Click on "New" (lower left)
c) Select Outlook Contact
d) The screen flashes and returns to the contact list.

2) Using TouchFLO I am not able to change the Wallpaper from the settings button of the home TouchFLO screen. Click on Wallpaper / Homescreen Background but nothing happens.

All in all, I am warming up to the build. I am new to using custom ROMs.
In past I had an 8125 and hacked it a little to fix certains bugs, however this is completely different. You have many great apps and add ons. I look forward to more cooked roms from you.

About the "no image file", I had this when using a large SD (4GB) formatted with FAT32. You can try a smaller one, preferrably 1GB, but with FAT16. That should work with newer SPLs, I don't know about 1.0.OliPof.

I also remember having seen a tutorial on what to do when the cable isn't working and it was good to me, since I had that problem the first time I tried to flash mine.

I am using a 2GB SD Card. Before I intalled the AllStar v2, I have updated the SPL to 3.56 by using HardSPL 3.56 flashing & it showed successfully completed but after that I went on the bootloader & found it still showed SPL 1.0.1OliPof. Anyways, I have bought an external battery charger that takes overnight to charge 75% till I am able to flash stock rom from SD Card to see whether the mini usb will work or not. Cause if it does not work than that will mean it is a HW issue & not a SW issue.

1) Cannot add phone#/Contact to outlook contacts.
a) open contacts, press bottom left screen button (on Windows 6.5 home)
b) Click on "New" (lower left)
c) Select Outlook Contact
d) The screen flashes and returns to the contact list.

Concerning the problem to add a new contact, it helped me to install the latest version of icontact and make new adds through the plugin!

I really like the ROM, however battery-consumption is very bad for me!
i´m not sure if it could be my battery, that has given up, but if i use TomTom7 and the battery-charger, charging stops after about 1 or 2 minutes!
- I tried the 1.7x and several 1.6x Radios and have HardSPL 3.56.

Going to flash one of my previous ROMs to find out, if it is a problem of my Hardware.

However, you cooked a really nice ROM - fast, with the right choice of basic equipment and enough memory to install own stuff!

Already tried V2 a few notable bugs but nothing major on the tflo side (wallpaper, create, etc) since i rarely use them. I would like to ask if anyone else having problems with wifi connectivity? or is it just me? I'm using a 1.75 radio, tried with both B and G routers connects but no activity.
