To use, put the sync.ico from the zip file into device's \windows directory. If you've never plugged device into PC & it hasnt installed drivers for it before then your good to go otherwise, with device plugged in, goto device manager and remove it under portable devices. Unplug, wait and then plug back in. If device install doesnt kick in then click 'scan for hardware changes' and it will. bring WMDC up and should display new picture. This wont affect any existing sync partnerships you have.
