Just started too have two minor issues with this rom....

First is after every phone call the screen dims. have tried resetting to what I want it to be but soon as I turn screen back on its dim again!!!!

Second is touch screen is behaving oddly...by this I mean I can select items but I have to hold stylus on item for a second or two for it to select it...general only happens in menus or in messaging app.

NO theres not a lot of texts and no have not installed or updated things in nearly two months in regards to apps..

any ideas folks?

My phone started locking without reason, solved by using another hard SPL, might be worth a try on yours. (I was using shaw hardspl 3.34 and changed to the 3.29 version, no more locks since then)

Somewhat weird problem on this rom...

The weather information that appears in the first tab of today screen worked perfectly on the previous times I had this rom installed, but after one of the attempts of installing android on my phone it stopped being able to update the weather, already tried reinstalling, and even going to android and back again, and no change on it, except by it, the phone is working perfectly.
Would like some advice on a solution for this.

I tired placing the SDConfig.txt under the root folder of the SD card for the customization but I am unable to get it work.

Can someone please help if the SDConfig.txt works for the ROM? I mean is this ROM UC capable

By the way, this is one of the best ROMS that I have used, have been using it for than 3 months now and I have not seen an major issue.

Presently it is not working. Previously my weather tab was working great and the weather info on the home tab not working.

I had to re-flashed it and not its the opposite. Weather info on the home tab is working but not working on the weather tab. Dont have any idea why it is soo

And of course thanks for letting me know that it is not UC

Weather tab on Home is working well.. but on the touch flo -- weather tab option it says unable to retrieve.

I have one question, when i play a video it selects a weird player "album" how can i change my default player to coreplayer? :confused: -------OK I SOLVED IT BY MYSELF! :D If anyone else want to know how to change the default program to open a file, pm me.


Another thing, is there a way i can uninstall windows media player?

I also have a problem with weather updating on the Weather page. It's very interesting - did it work 3 months ago for example? (I installed this ROM only yesterday).
And one more question - I can not turn on WiFi from the Setting page. It is blank. Does anybody have the same problem?

Now have the weather not updating on the weather tab issue..was fine about a month ago..then only updated once in a while now just fails everytime...#

go to start=>msn weather=>search for your location.
and then the weather will be updated automatically on your home page :)

This is NEW version of manila 2D 2.0.2016.3224
It takes about 12MB of memory for installation on your Kaiser!It will install over old one but weather works fine!

It work great till I wanted to access start menu... but on pressing the screen nothing happened,tried hardware button and nothing happened...have had to restore a backup (thank god for backups) to get it working..... thank you for you post but no use when can't access your applications etc....

Sorry to hear that!Its strange,never had that problem on any rom :cool:
Here is only patched Manila2d.exe file,try to replace it,it should work!Just copy it to windows folder with total commander or resco explorer and overwrite the old one!
No need to install Manilla from my previous post...only replace Manila2d.exe!
I hope you get it working!

Nice work, but ustable for me. It often restart when open keyboard and sometimes random restart when using internet sharing.

Ouch...... thats not the rom...have used this rom and previous roms on my kaiser and spare ones for 2 years if not longer.... would suggest a reflash and make sure you do a wipe (reset hole+camera+power buttons) and may be do it several times...if that doesn't solve it then update the radio rom as well....

I have one quastion about home tab weather. I`m using kaiser_wwe_shifu_v4.0(not naked). All programms works fine and i really like this rom, but i have one big problem. On home tab weather not working, but in weather tab all going great. Enyone knows how to fix this problem, please? Hope you all will understand what i mean.

Great Rom shifu, absolutely rock solid on my tytn2, initially installed 1.71.09.01 radio and camera not working, soon realised needed the recommended radio and all went well, great work and thanks from a real noob:)
